Founders MrMuppet Posted March 8, 2014 Founders Report Share Posted March 8, 2014 Tomorrow, Sunday 9th March, we have been advised of emergency maintenance being carried out by SSE in Central London, as the result of an vehicle damaging a fibre duct. For the past few hours, we have been testing our secondary circuit which has performed as expected. Please consider 12:00 to 23:59 tomorrow to be an at risk period. During this time, our primary circuit will be unavailable for a period of time - expected to be thirty minutes. During this time internet traffic will be routed via our secondary circuit. Brief packet loss may be noted during the change over. We will remain in contact with SSE engineers at the job site, and Safehosts' engineers will be present at all of our core network nodes during this time. We will be in a position to inform you (via the ticket system) of when the primary circuit is taken out of service, and when it is returned. We will be able to be more specific regards exact timing as the work progresses, and will keep you informed.
