  1. I took my results from the ET console which means I have no idea at all does that number included every single bot or not

That explains everything, it includes every "player" that is listed in the server, if you take a look at some servers they're 72/72 or whatever redirects that don't even have 1 real player. And hence TM ND also has fakes in spec all the time.

Isn't dirty bomb some generic futuristic sci-fi shooter? That's probably why it doesn't appeal so much.

It's not sci-fi and it rather doesn't appeal because of:

    - shitty maps and no SDK to make better ones

    - no community servers

Here's SD's mistake of not realizing that those 2 features kept players in ET until today.

  2. Those are assumptions Destroy, if you want to say something credible you should probably comes with some numbers yourself.

It's not an assumption, it's just a matter of logical intuition or looking at a good source like trackbase at Sunday evening or whatever, which you could have done instead of writing your much more credible post. Real player numbers don't go over 1000 even then, sometimes.

EDIT: http://et.trackbase.net/stats/ - I hope that's credible enough for you.

  3. There is no 7 -> 8.1 -> 10 update. It goes directly from 7 to 10. You need to reserve the update and wait some time until it's prepared for you.

And many apps that prevent tracking are open source, so you can be sure they're safe if you can read the code (or if you trust other people who can read the code). E.g. NoScript and BetterPrivacy for safer browsing.

  4. I tested Win 10 and I see no reason to switch from Win 7. At least until they make it more reliable. Too many things are either not finished or not included in the current "stable" version at all, even though they were supposed to be there. And there's a year to decide if you want to switch over, so no need for a rush.

Will stay on my linux <3. Customized it in the way I want it to look like, without security problems and wondering which anti-virus program I need. Besides I got used to terminal so much, I can't live without it.

Hopefully Steam OS will be out of beta till the end of windows 7 support, so we will be able to game on Linux.

You're mentioning security problems and yet you're waiting for Steam OS? They can't even fully secure their application - for example if you look at the latest bug which allowed everyone to reset/change password on any account.

  5. They gained 12% of the total vote but gained nothing in terms of political say or power, but the SNP gained 8% of the vote and secured 1/8 of parliament.

And that's exactly why single-member districts will always suck and should be frowned upon.

  6. It's true you can bind any vsay you want, but you can only bind this to one single key right?

No. You underestimate the power of ET configs. You can bind not only that specific menu, but the whole soundpack with 3 to X keys depending on the usage. With 3 keys you can for example bind Page Up, Page Down and End to the 3 following actions:

    - go up the list and echo the current music title

    - go down the list and echo the current music title

    - execute the sound

Then use "vstr" to combine these three. This will of course work well only for a few sounds. Here's a more basic proof of concept with one-way list: http://wolfensteinet.com/a-vstr-cycle/

And for more than a few sounds more keys will be most likely needed to generate a more advanced "menu".
