UsedNapkin Posted May 4, 2014 Report Share Posted May 4, 2014 hey , i have my new computer and everytime i close ET my screen will stay black and i have to restart my computer... it only happends with ET with nothing else im running et on a windows 7 64 bit any ideas ?? ketiv Posted May 4, 2014 Report Share Posted May 4, 2014 1. try to disable Antivirus or Firewall (if you've got any..)2. on game shortcut properties check:-compatibility mode: WIndows XP-disable desktop composition-run as administrator3. did you try to run ET with the same resolution as your desktop? When you get the black screen, open console and typ /quitYou wont see the console opening but just imagine it does, and it will be fixed ( atleast it did for me ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
