Cannot find my etkey

Hello all,

I have a problem with my etkey.

I played a few weeks on 213.108.29.116 and I had no problems.

Then I reinstalled my Windows 7 on a new HDD and installed ET.

I played again on the server but I forgot to copy the etkey, so I lost my XP.

I connected my old HDD to my PC and want to copy the etkey, but there was no etkey File in the etmain folder...

I looked on my new HDD where I installed ET, but there is also no etkey. I also search the whole HDD for the etkey, but I cannot find it.

When I type in the console \pb_cdkeyreg it says:

cdkey/GUID file already exists

With \pb_myguid it shows me my cdkey/GUID

Can anyone help me?

Where did my etkey go and why it doesn't create a new one?

the only things i can come up with is that you should update pb, and run ET as administrator

Did you use the all in one et installer or install via the normal exec files?

I found my etkey file

I reinstalled Punkbuster.

It is in

C:\Users\geko100\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\ET\etmain

I installed Punkbuster with pbsetup.exe, because of problems with Punkbuster...

I search for my old etkey file. Is it with that possible to get back my XP?

EDIT: YEAH! I got my XP back

But it is strange, that the Search Function did not find the etkey on my old HDD...
