  1. My thoughts (if you will indulge):-

    1. I think the mute system is a necessary evil, though it can be irritating! Whether or not this game is designed for adults there are young players in our servers. Admins are not always online to deal with excessive swearing and having the mute system acts as a first line of defence, so to speak. As I said it can be annoying at times though. I was talking with a player the other day who kept knifing me and I called him an 'assassin.' Of course I got muted for using the word 'ass.' :D I can live with being muted for 30 seconds though and, to be honest, if the mistake is genuine a TM member will normally unmute you real quickly anyway.

    2. It's been explained above why this is a useful rule in an international community. The specifics of this rule are difficult to enforce though and people have their own interpreation. The odd words ('Ja,' 'Siema,') etc are probably fine. Actual conversations in another language are not. The use of this rule really depends on how strictly it is enforced by admins and members.

    3. This has been dealt with above.

    Just my 2 cents.

  2. Definitely paper. I find it difficult to read walls of text on a screen and nothing beats the feel of a nice book. A tablet/kindle has no real feel to it.

Would you rather live up in space or under the sea?

  3. My first foray into this topic, which has been quite interesting so far!

So far I have met one person from TM and we had a great time getting to know each other.  I also came close to meeting Eagle when I was in Prague but just couldn't get free the same time as he (I'm sure there will be another time!). I would like to meet some more of you :)

Surgery - had surgery as a kid to remove a tumour from my ear. I was only 11. It was not a nice experience at all!

I recently had a minor operation to have a small heart monitor fitted for 2 years after I fainted unexpectedly and without explanation. The doctors still can't explain why I fainted. Personally I think it was because I had been away for 2 weeks and was having major ET withdrawal symptoms! It was the first operation I have had whilst awake. It's weird knowing that things are happening but you can't see or really feel it.

    Have you ever been arrested?
