that can be the problem! i played over 2 years with 40 fps and dont know why. punkbuster have problems with some nivida cards (read pb wiki) so pb is so much calcutatin that the fps go down. try this program for free called : prosseslasso than start et and minimize and than you put: pnka.exe to cpu 1 pnkb.exe cpu 2 and et.exe to cpu 3 after that you have constant full fps. try it over years i had the same thing and noone help me.

what videocard you have? nividia or ati?
