I think this was done to prevent from everyone going private chatting and the general chatroom isn't used.
This is the reason and this is how it should stay. For private messages you have PMs' here and on server, xfire , facebook, twitter, instragram, kik, ask.fm, watsapp etc. take a pick.

@ Bird, most of skoda (engine+) comes from same factory than audi and vw tho. But as it has the Czeck stamp on the brand it has one of the best price/quality ratios

I was choosing cool nickname for irc and stuff 15 years back. I opened German dictionary (why? no idea.) , randomly flipped some pages and pointed my finger to a word. The word was glanz which translates to "shining". After few years I just kinda changed it to look a bit more Finnish and changed it a bit to not be any direct word. Been roling with klants or klantsi ever since.
