Jaden Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 use just 1 core of your CPU for W:ET. the game has some probs with multi-core CPUs. also try running it in compability-mode for XP SP3 + run as admin. another problem may the RAM be, wolf:et can only handle 4 as far as i know. also try updating your sounddrivers. greetz Quote
StrikerOwner_NL Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 Anyway to disable ram ? Cheers for the information so far Quote

Smirre Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 while ingame press ctrl+alt+delete, it opens taskmanager, there under processes list right click mouse on et.exe, goto affinity and uncheck other than cpu0 box (or cpu1, which ever works best for you). Quote
StrikerOwner_NL Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 dindt work for me installing ubuntu dual boot... lets see... otherwise ill just play on my old pc Quote
ketiv Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 [OT] there is a little tool to easy set CPU affinity and proces priority (for et.exe & pb services) pbPrior 1.3 Quote
random Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 this should fix it: http://www.filedropper.com/atioglxxDownload and unpack and copy the .dll in the directory where the .exe is, it's the opengl driver from catalyst 13.9 that works properly with older games. This counts for all older opengl games, not just ET. http://www.crossfire.nu/journals/151388/fps-problems-with-amd-gpu-read-this Quote
StrikerOwner_NL Posted January 20, 2014 Author Report Posted January 20, 2014 Fixed random. Thanks! Quote
