Kicked for guidspoofing

Hey Guys,

 

Im playing for a few weeks on the teammuppet server. But last week I had te reinstall the game because some errors during startup.

 

And now every time I connect to the server I get kicked straight away with the message: Server Disconnected - you are kicked for guidspoofing.

 

Anyone knows how to fix this message?

go onto another et pub server.. try et pub 2 and set ur name.. thats should work.. or go to ur cfg file and change ur name there

cfg file and change your name should work. if it doesnt work blame blondie and let us know

I probably would say delete you etkey and get another and connect to etpub server.

Changing my name didnt help, reconnecting to the server does work somehow. But Its pretty anoyning to reconnect every time.

 

I got a new etkey from http://etkey.net/ and that seems to works, only thing is, my xp is gone now

Unfortunately when you change your etkey your xp will reset at least you can still play and you can easily get back the amount if xp that you have before go frag buddy

You are unfortunately stuck with two choices: either reconnect often or loose XP. Personally I'd go for the last option

i would go with 2nd option too.

Xp not that big deal on server and you can get it back by playin there.

But reconnecting over and over again will be pain in the *** after some time
