Today there were two suspicious usernames on the ETL Main server:

- GD Panzer Division: might be GroßDeutschland Panzer Division (Great Germany / Big Germany) - AFAIR a SS Panzer Division name of WWII

- *** ICE ***

Are there restrictions to user names?

Hi null,

 

Yes there are. Besides the fact that we must be able to search an offline name ( To find abusers ), names should not insult / offend anybody.
And now the hard part : When is a name insulting / offending ?  That is an gray area.

I regular search names on the internet for meaning and based on that I ask to rename sometimes.
As you understand, we can't forbid all names. 

In general, some names who "ask for attention" will be watched closer and they have bigger chance for warnings.

 

For now, I will let them use these names.
