like maddy and me allready said... get back to win7 when i remember correctly you bught the laptop with win7, so you should have an recovery cd or somethin like that. sry that i cant help wou with win8. its just on my tablet and im still not warm with it and not a big friend of it

i would go with 2nd option too. Xp not that big deal on server and you can get it back by playin there. But reconnecting over and over again will be pain in the *** after some time

i have a lot of problems with installin et as well. thats why i use and old et folder (no install) i found on an old external harddrive its probably 3-4 years old. but you can try that as well: install et copy the folder to somewhere else , deinstall et, add a new key to the folder you copied and try to run it from there. but no warranty that it will work

yep sunday is better would awesome , love this map , its a reminder of my noquater times but i think blade or smirre allready said couple of times that it would crush the serve, well i dont know what the newest insights are. if you need more maps , here some suggestions: - Paris Bastille beta 3 - Base 12 (Beta 6) - Le Mont St. Michel (Final) [dont know the map but looks quite nice] - Subway - Warbell

maby some poll?! how many lagg and how many dont?! and then find a good solution or just some statement from admins that its allready best settings and we should deal with it cause post bout this topic gettin(?!) more an dmore

hmm your problem souds like pc problem try smirressuggestion, it help me too couple of month ago but server isnt that stable too , maby for thouse in the uk (blade ) have laggs sometime (but no fps drops like you, thats why i thinks its pc based issue)
