    Yes place in etmain so you can exec your config on other mods too. I added "seta" on my post just to be sure you know what I mean :)

    Ups had a typo on the second command too. Additional you can add "seta r_mapoverbrightbits x"

     

    Mapoverbrightbits is the brightnes of the map (ground/world stuff) while overbrightbits is more about all stuff.

     

    Take a look at "r_ignorehwgamma "0|1"" if nothing changes if you do change these commands. Could be the reason ET is using your dektop values.

    create a autoexec_et_ice.cfg and write down "seta r_gamma x" and "seta r_overbrightbits x" (x = a value you need to test) and "vid_restart". Just exec your default config after the map so you have normal settings.

    Nice. Much clans/servers are gone and it get less each year. Our Etpub is always grounded and I hope it will be for years. :)

    I did a server count check this morning, thought you might be interested:

    2.6b: 794 servers
    2.6: 7 servers
    2.55: 250 servers

    About 1 and half year ago server count was higher of course. Something like

    2.6b around 1400, 2.55 around 600, ... if i remember correct.

    Hey guys, I'm here to say that we will have a Hide&Seek gathering this saturday !
    This gathering will be on saturday 21st of June 2014 at 20:00 CET (GMT+1).

    So for those who don't know what Hide&Seek is, I will explain briefly : in this mod, there are 2 teams called "Seekers" (Allies) and "Hiders" (Axis). The seekers must kill all the hiders with the colt and the knife (the throwing knife can be voted on and off) before the end of the round.
    The hiders have to hide (as their name tell) and if they're discovered, they'll have to escape the seekers before they got killed. The hiders can't kill the seekers.
    Usually, the ratio is 1 allied for 3 axis with gib on (gib can be voted on and off according to the number of axis/allies).

    Server IP : 88.198.6.84:5555
    Server Rules : glitching, ghosting, hacking, bugging is not tolerated on the server.
    Teamspeak IP : 88.198.6.84:9987

    The server has 40 slots.
    Clients of 2.55 and 2.60b can both connect to the server.
    One pk3 file has to be downloaded to /etpub/ for the mod.

    So see you this saturday 21st June 2014 at 8PM CET !

    spoke to micha about this yesterday ..

     

    what about a server test event for micha and we can give live reactions ?

     

    will be a short notice one and can be made when ever needed

     

    I would like to make a bigger event if I have linux version. This is just a test to find bugs (and maybe include wishes) right now :)

    Only windows clients and server can run this at this time.
