Just altered the cycle to include some more common maps and also some xmas maps, epic in the way that who ever was on the same team as me and mini lost because we did'nt know most of the maps, spent most the night wondering around lost.

Updated skin pack with nq1.2.0 version, And made a few cfg changes. All maps and mods are ready for redirectional downloading.

After yesterdays epic game I found out that through the whole map cycle I only knew three of the maps in the cycle, could this be a reason why we dont get as busy as some other servers? Do we need to put back some of the more common maps back into the cycle and shuffle a few of the not so common between these?

Well, installed it, got the crash issue resolved by using my sound card and not had time to even launch it since, been onto the options screen and set them and thats it up to yet.

For those that have accessed the forums from http://www.teammuppet.co.uk will have noticed that we have a new home page, this is a better organised and clearer site providing an integrated forum and several other features. For those that have not accessed the forums via the intro page, the new home page can be found at http://www.teammuppet.co.uk/main/news.php If you have accessed the forums via a saved link then you would have been redirected to the new forums and the address bar is now different, the forum is a copy of the original and everything is the same. You need to register on the new home page to take benefit of all its features but this is not required to access the forums as this uses your current logins, being logged in on the home page will not log you in on the forums and vice versa. Hope this home page is more user friendly, check out the links page to divert to other useful sites such as our server status pages, resource sites and other clan sites.

The etpub server has the etpro mod installed, it just takes a minute to swap it to an etpro war server with all the clanbase maps and cfg's already being installed.

For those who use onboard sound, this is a driver incompatibility with a certain version of the Realtek drivers and Windows Vista.

Yep do a mass pm, mini at work 7-7, just cant get the staff. I'm free sunday evening so I will be on. Spoke to badwolf the other day, he should have his new computer now, I'll see if he is coming on as well.

I'm just busy at the moment, Half way through doing the kitchen, Just fitted the fire in the computer room, Still lots to do, the semi admin on gameservers makes it alot better for the servers, there is always one of us about if there is issues. Not given up on et by far, got my cod5 today but it wont launch and I aint got time to look into that yet.

Think I have just done that, way points for eagles2_a6 and uploaded transmitter_beta instead of beta 2 because there is no way points for the map beta2. Let me know if they are ok.

The NQ server has been moved to the gameservers ip of 212.187.208.5:27960 where it will now stay. This server has been up and running with a password for a while now with no issues, all the current xp from the previous server has been uploaded to there. The current server 85.234.148.28 will now be running cod5 world at war, with this being a second world war game I hope this will build up some extra interest in teammuppet. Cheers.

Just uploaded these to the 212.187.208.5 server and included them into the map cycle.

Guys, It looks like lots of people are working to try and get the servers busy again, what I want to do is keep the nq server on the new ip with game servers, the server that is password protected at the moment. This has only had one issue in the whole time that it has been running nq so this is proving to be more reliabel, another reason is that with game servers I can have semi admin account which a few of you have access to, with this you can restart the server at source instead of rcon if this is not availible, also I can add ftp access for the same accounts allowing you to up load maps and any cfg changes that are required. Basicly I dont need to be around, the admins will be able to do most thing using the control panel or ftp. Firslty I need to get the xp save to work, game servers have given up with this; "I also unzipped the compressed file containing your XP information. Unfortunately, it looks as though the server assumes this information is old despite the xpsave settings that your server has implemented(never reset xp). These messages were found in your server log: G_xpsave_cleanup_expired_xp_file: deleted expired xp save file for: MC_Killer G_xpsave_cleanup_expired_xp_file: deleted expired xp save file for: ALX G_xpsave_cleanup_expired_xp_file: deleted expired xp save file for: ^2MwG^7(23)^1DrWg G_xpsave_cleanup_expired_xp_file: deleted expired xp save file for: ICE G_xpsave_cleanup_expired_xp_file: deleted expired xp save file for: DeXTer^0__--__-- This goes on for all of the xpsave files that were unzipped. Unfortunately, I don't know if there is anything we can do for you." I think I have just sorted this out but still have some xp save files left to upload. With the current nq server that we have had issues with, I think I will change this to COD5 and try to drum up some following for this, set up a section in the forums for COD5 and try to bring some new blood in this way. The current etpub server can continue to run on this and we can swap this in the matter of seconds to etpro when we play a match, obviously jaymod will continue in its mod. This will still give us 3 et servers with one being swappable for matches and 1 COD5 server. Thoughts!

Just set it to 70,000 to begin with and restarted so it will take affect from now.

Yep, might just change one of the servers that ain't being used over to this top trial when its released.

Shrubbot and xp save sorted, I have 6000 xp save files that are being uploaded at the moment so every ones xp will be there eventually. Check out your shrubbot powers to make sure I have uploaded the correct cfg. I have enabled Punkbuster manually, I'll get the host to add this to the start line so I dont have to do this. Cant get the bots to work on the transmitter map with any of the way points so I have removed this map.

Just got a reply, "Although we're not having any issues from other customers hosted on the same server, what I'd like to do for peace of mind is migrate your server onto new hardware. That for us, will eliminate once possible cause."
