bad robot
It'd be nice if we had larger maps when there are lots of people. Maps such as (mlb) temple are really cool.
FrenchPie
I fully agree we don't play enough large maps and I miss it. But I even if we had more, I doubt people will vote for it because we already have some, such as capuzzo, which is never selected. Probably because they prefer little messy battlefields. Dmxj
Yeah ur 100% right. Ive added some large maps but as long the script isnt updated and that smaller maps can't be voted with +25players nothing will change the behaviour of the people.. bad robot
Some (incl. me) are inclined to vote along specific requests in (intermission) chat. So perhaps we can vote slightly more public. One thing that irks me about voting is that you can't change your selection (in contrast to silent mod) so it feels very definitive, you can't adjust, and you can't preview what people are voting for. That has some upsides, but I fear more downsides.
knuX
Would be cool if the map pool reacted to the number of players online. Not necessarily no small maps if it's 30+ online but at least less of them to give the larger/newer maps more of a chance of getting voted
bad robot
Perhaps we could also take maps out of rotation after being played for slightly longer? I think it's 6 to 8 maps before they show up again?
