Beginners : problem on weapons

Hi all

On beginners, a dead allie let down a MP40.
An engineer who has a rifle and a Thompson can't take this MP40 cause if he take it he loses his rifle.
Can you make that dead allies let down a Thompson instead of a MP40 ? so the engies of both sides would have the same opportunities in matter of ammo
