The dates on the crew list are a bit off. MrMuppet (the date showing on the crew list is manually modified I think), Maddy and me did not join on the same day even tho it says 07 march 2008. I think that is the oldest known registration date of us on a certain forum (either this one or our previous one). I'd love to find out the exact date that I joined TM, but I fear that's going to be a mystery for ever

If it's been 5 years since ur last serious play, I must be a Muppet for a damn long time!

Hello guys! It's time for all of you ETpro junkies and players who like a challenge to prepare for the 2014 TM Cup! Send away your wife for the summer, tell your children to go on vacation to their favorite aunt and buy an auto-feeder for your pets. You will have no time for anybody else between the thrilling fights and glorious victories! This is a closed cup, this means that only TM members and friends are allowed to sign up and compete. The Cup will obviously be played on ETpro. We have set up 4 ETpro cup servers (2 in the UK and 2 in Germany) all have a ETTV server linked to them. This year's cup will be a little bit different from last year. We will use the ebattles plugin, if you want to play in the cup make sure that you have signed up HERE -To give everybody a chance at winning we will randomize the teams this year. This means that you will be added to a pool of players when you sign up and when the deadline has been reached I will put the teams together randomly (using randomizing software). If you have any concerns about this, please PM me -We will use an adjusted map pool that is a little bit smaller then last year, leaving the maps that nobody knows out of it. -If players or teams don't show up for their matches they will be dropped out of the cup. (I will keep a closer eye on this then last year) -There will be a prize for the winning team. Something a little different from last yearTo sign up you have to: Make sure that you are signed up on the link mentioned above Send me a PM on the forum to confirm that you want to play in the cup and that you have signed up, you will only be added to the player pool once I received your PMExtra notes: Sign up's will be available untill the 24th of JuneAfter I closed the sign ups the teams will be announced and all of you will have one week to: 1) Train and get used to your teammates 2) Decide who your team captain is going to be 3) Decide what your team-name will be 4) Let your team captain create your team on the ebattles plugin website 5) Let your team send me a PM to confirm that he has created your team and to send me your Team nameThe 1st of July the TM Cup will officially start. Your team will be required to play 1 match per week.Invite all your friends to join! Let's make this a big success! That will depend on how much effort the people are going to put in in actually playing their matches this year.

We're going to do things differently this year. If you think there's a chance that I can persuade you in competing, send me a PM, I'll give you some details on it Thanks to the people who are liking the poster! For everybody else, don't forget to check back regularly for updates

I'm with Random on this one. From a pure objective point of view I would have to say that your Quote doesn't state any valid argument as to why we should not lower the amount of slots on the main server and redirect people to a second server. To compare it with a supermarket, imagine one that's getting more and more crowded because their success is attracting more and more people which resulted in the supermarket having to allow more people inside than the building can handle (let's say they allow 40p out of a capacity of 30p). It would get so crowded that it would be almost impossible for their clients to move trough the supermarket, whilst they also burn trough resources faster then they can supply, leaving even the clients that have been patient enough to bare with the crowdedness unhappy. What would the company that owns that supermarket do? They would build another supermarket that has a similar size, so that they can spread the average amount of clients over the two buildings so that they can drop the maximum amount of people that they allow to a reasonable amount (let's say 30p), ensuring them of a smooth shopping experience. On an economic point of view, two similar sized supermarkets that individually have less clients but together have more then they could have before would generate more profit. So, at the end of the day, both the clients and the company would be happy. This is not a personal stab, I hope we can discuss this in peace

I'm wondering as well. Also, after reading my reply again, I'm wondering in what kind of a book-writing mood I was

Thanks Towelie & Ding!

Glad to have had you over the last two years! You've been a great member and I could also call you a good friend. You've always been a great laugh & I'll never forget the night where you kinda stopped me from hoppin' on my bike to do stupid stuff when i was drunk as fuck I hope we can add many more years to your TeamMuppet © Membership! <3

Allright, thanks Craig

The last time we had a Nam event the server couldn't handle the traffic and it got quite laggy -> people didn't stay long I hope it'll be better this time, because it can be a lot of fun! Hit me up when you need a poster Blade!

Have you tried googling "how to role back from 8.1 to 8"? I'm a bit short on time at this moment so i can't research it for you, it sounds very strange that the update made things so much worse for you tho

Eagle is right, you're trying to overkill here. Try to find the cause of your lag, it's way easier, not to mention the fun human enemies are instead of bots. You can devide the most common reasons of lag into two categories: Computer issues: Your computer is trying to run Wolfenstein: ET, but it's not able to run it smoothly. Try closing any programs you don't need while playing ET (Internet browsers, other games, recording software, music players, skype or other messengers, ...). If your computer is a bit outdate (there's no shame in that, don't worry), your can try setting your ET configuration to use less resources of your computer (by lowering the graphic quality for example), there are many people here who can help you with that. Network issues: You are trying to connect to a server trough the internet, but your connection to that server isn't very good. Try closing any programs that are downloading things (torrents, music, ...), or streaming things (youtube, ...). If you are connected via wireless connection, try moving closer to the source or try using a cable. If there are other people using the same local network (brothers or sisters), ask them if they are downloading something and if they are tell them to stop it.There are of course many other things you can do and try to fix lag issues, but of the top of my head these seem to be the most common ones
