Well, first and foremost, thanks for letting us know that we shouldn't expect you to apply for tryout in the near future again. I'm sure this will put e rest on our recruiters mind for the time being so that they can live their lives without any stress. I think it's sad that you feel this way because I think that there's a logical explaination for your "behavior" in general, and that you are nice guy with nice intentions. However, I usually happen to not share everybody else's opinion and they sadly enough don't share mine a lot either. So I'm just one guy saying this, while i lot of other guys may think the excact opposit. If I find them I will kill them, but smart as they are, they usually stay under the radar. I hope this doesn't mean that we will not see you on our server(s) or the chat anymore. I've got used to seeing your name pop in from time to time, and i would feel like there was something missing if this just disappeared. After a long day of serious talks and helping people I would think "where's my Paul at?", just to give an example. Maybe, if you decide to hang around and not flee to other servers (that are obviously not as good as ours), there is a chance that one day you may become an official TM Friend, with all the perks that come with it included. But untill that day, I hope you can enjoy yourself in any way you see fit. Take care Paul. Best regards, Ben

Paul, you have my yes vote. I'm sure the people have told you about our recruitment process by now, so I won't try to explain it again. I would just like to point out that people do take it seriously, regardless of what Charlie might think he knows. About spawnkilling, I urge you to not open that topic again because that would lead to 3 pages of pointless discussions on it and eventually a lock on this topic. In the end, it wouldn't have changed a thing. Everybody feels different about SK, there's no way for us to set up rules that make everybody happy.

Lez keep on Sunday Why would you want to sleep longer after an event? I reckon most people would want to sleep longer after going out partying/doing something crazy, instead of sitting at home playing a game. If it starts at there's MORE then enough time to play AND sleep enough for work/school on Monday

This sounds like a great idea! We can test new maps, and add maps that we usually just wouldn't play because they are too big for normal server use. (I'm thinking about Minas here!)

I don't see where you got the idea of being discriminated from Charlie? Please do explain yourself. Everybody had an equal chance to win, I did not earn my votes in any other way then you did. Superiority complex? Are you serious? The point of this competition was to involve the people in the creation of a new splash screen for the L4D2 server. We could just have done it the usual way and ask somebody to make one and not bother with asking everybody, wait for their submissions and even pay for a prize if they get the most votes. You had a chance of winning, but if you would run a server, something you put money into, you would also think twice about what poster you actually are going to keep up. If we were as 'serious' and felt as 'superior' as you think we do, than we would not have even put your poster up for voting. Imo we shouldn't even have done so, because that way maybe the people who put more time and effort into their poster would have gotten more votes.

Thanks to everybody who voted! (especially if you voted for my poster ) Although i have to admit that Charlie's poster was very nice, my personal favorite was number 1. I hope we can have more contests like this, I honestly was surprised with what you guys were able to come up with, some very nice creations ! ^^

Charlie, the topic said that the winning design will get the prize. Winning as in "it has the most votes". That doesn't mean it will be used on the server if it's a design that doesn't fit what we were looking for ^^

in console it's just /r_textureMode "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_NEAREST" me thinks You can type /r_ in console and then press tab to see all the graphical changes you can make

I am proud to present to you the winning team of the first ever TM Cup! A very big congratulations to Bartmen, Tomoyo and Domi. The three of you have stormed trough this cup and have proven yourself worthy of the first place in this cup! A shared second place goes members of the Desperados and Finntards team: Niki, Gaunt, Ketiv and Hunti (Desperados) & Smirre, Toni and Klokk (Finntards). Both of you have also done a great job during this cup. I would like to thank the other teams that have signed up and played in this cup. Some of you haven't made it trough to the end due to circumstances, but it was very nice to see the interest you showed in this. Aslo, a very big THANK YOU to MrMuppet and MiniMuppet for providing us with a forum to communicate on and cup servers to play on. They have put a big amount of time in to get this working. It was amazing to see the excitement this cup brought into the clan, for me this was a great experience and I'm looking forward to the next one. This topic is a bit late, wich i am sorry for. But better late then never! The next thing we should focus on is the TM Open Cup. You can still sign up for this until the 23rd of this month! //Any ideas, complaints or suggestion you have about this cup or the next one are very welcome.
