  1. Kickvote works anonymously, so it can be (or rather certanly will be ) abused. Experience tells me that many players will simply press F1 or F2 without really looking into what vote is about,

Additionally, I agree with Charlie that lvl 2 may be a bit too low to call such important votes. However, the problem exists and we must react.

Besides, low level admins still have such useful and powerful (if used propelry) commands as !gib or !freeze. So, why not to give some "powers" to low level members whose actions can be followed and controlled instead of relying on anynymous votes?

  2. Limiting grenades and rifle grenades is (at least) worth considering in my opinion. With server full of players game turns into a chaotic grenade fest full of random frags and deaths.

Anyway, I'm rather conservative when it comes to change gameplay and usually i vote to leave it as it is, because our server is so popular for a reason

and it means that ppl like to play here with present settings. Better is the enemy of good. So, if we plan to change something, we should do it carefully.

There is an automatic system that puts you to spectator.

Auto spec doesn't work perfectly. If you remain inactive even for a while longer, but during this time you were pushed by any other player, the system recognizes this as your move and does not put you on spec. Please keep this on your mind next time when you go afk.

to avoid people play the same 6 maps all the time, how do we think about this option :

Its mandatory to fill in ALL 3 votes, or vote button doesn't work.
In that case there is a bigger chance less popular maps will get voted

Please , what do you think about it ?

    It's worth a try imo

A little idea for generating some revenues that could be used for future events/marketing campaigns: What about selling this image on a T-shirt? I am sure that plenty of ppl with their nicknames on  would be happy to buy it :)  It could be a nice nostalgic/game relic and at the same time it will help the community(=fundraising) :) If you would charge like 15-20e for a nice quality t-shirt than it would sell :) @sty will be able to use it as a gym tshirt haha :D

Idea with Teammupet T-shirts sounds really nice, but It may be not that simple due to copyright issues. Both Muppets with Kermit the Frog and Wolfenstein ET are proprietary and legally protected.

As long as money is out of the question - no problem. However, if we use it comercially, we can be in huge trouble.

  6. Better is the enemy of good...

Some people don't like bazookas, some are bothered by mortars, some are annoyed by grenades or airstrikes, and everyone is nervous about rambo medics with extraordinary aiming skills. There will always be something to disturb someone. However, reading some of the suggestions I am concerned about how easy it is to spoil what we have achieved so far.

The server is so popular for a reason. Some of us remember that it wasn't always like it is today, and rebuilding a community isn't easy at all. Please don't spoil this with  ill-considered and too far-reaching changes.

people don't usually selfkill to avoid deaths

I can't agree here. Many players use selfkill in battle just to avoid death. I'd even say it's quiet often and pretty annoying.

The simpliest solutions tend to be the best solutions - as it was mentioned above - the last player to hit a selfkiller gets a kill award and everyone should be satisfied.

But I wanna go to toilet midgame :D I dont want wires to hold me back but I wanna keep hearing whats going on :D .

Okay, jokes aside, when I was getting my first wireless arctis - the nonexisting latency was the deciding factor. Every other gaming headset that I had before wore out from some cable connection point or cables were on the way.

Wireless latency is not that big, but yeah, i'ts better to use a cable while gaming.

For me, the most important thing was the sound quality and finding a headset "for everything", not only for games if possible. If not i would buy just a good headphones. A friend of mine works in one of the big electronics stores and I had the opportunity to test many different headsets and headphones before buying. Also mid and high-end with prices bigger than 1k Eur. Cloud Mix just simply meet most of my expectations for a reasonable price.

  9. I use Hyper X Cloud Mix.

In my opinion It's a really decent gaming headset. You can use it connected by a cable as well as wireless (about 20 - 24h on battery). The sound is Hi-Res Audio certified when connected via cable and is truly amazing. The frequency response between 10Hz - up to 40kHz is something rare in this price class. The headset has 2 microphones, one of which is detachable. Hedset is perfect not only for games and movies, but also for a music. Slightly bass characteristics will be perfect for dynamic music, but I mainly listen to rock/metal and also can't complain about detailed sound.

P.S. Due to the small sound lag while wireless, it is better to connect them with a cable for gaming. With movies and music, there is no such need - it is unnoticeable.

  10. There are several techniques against prone. If it is close combat, you can simply jump over your opponent and attack him from behind. Or if your mouse sens is high enough you can just run around him before he finds out what just happened (damn you Bomba! :D). I understand prone has made the so far easy targets a little less easy. But let's be honest, just a little.
