Yeah and that, sorry posted in a hurry and missed that when I copied from my cfg. Been running windows 7 for months now from the beta untill the rc1 version Microsoft gave me just before launch, and I cant fault it, even the early version just seem to run without any issues.

OpenGL is your graphics driver, uninstall and remove all traces, use a driver cleaner if you have one, then make sure you install the correct driver. For your resolution add; seta r_customaspect "3" seta r_customheight "xxxx" seta r_customwidth "xxxx" seta r_fullscreen "1" where xxxx is your resolution to your etconfig in your profile for each mod, etmain, jaymod, nq etc.

Hi Binns and welcome to the forum, I forgot to mention that you can go into your ucp above and change your password from the one I set up for you. No problem about the friendly fire, I see you have spent time on both the et servers, if you are on the jaymod server then it's ok, just shoot away, friendly fire is not activated so you will not do any damaged to your team mate, on the nq server you will but I'm sure you will get the hang of hit when you here the team mate hit sounds. If you need any help then just post on here and we will do our best to assist, and finally have fun. :violence-guntoting:

Now then, mini dont like the xp save on the NQ server, she wants its set to save for 24 hrs so you can play on the server and gather your xp/skills throughout all the maps. I like the xp to be reset upon every map start, this means everyone starts with zero xp and skills and gathers them over the map, this makes it equal for all players and makes the game how it was meant to be played. Though the xp required to level up has a medic is much higher than is needed for the engineers, there is nothing worse than joining a map when you have level nine medics with adrenaline, twin pistols and greater health than you being a level one engineer who is trying to do what the game is about, the objective!

Noquarter 1.2.7 has been released today and is installed on the server, this includes bug fixes, security fixes and they have fixed some of the issue with omnibot. But, from their wiki; No Quarter requires a valid 2.60b/d Enemy Territory installation. Due to the security issues in ET, NQ will not run any thing less than the latest patches. Also, they have set the server files into a different directory, all the files required to run are on the file server and will be downloaded when connected but this includes all the sound packs, xmas mods etc so to save time create a new folder in your et directory (along side your other mod folders) called nq, in there place all the files from your noquarter folder except for the files displaying 1.2.5, you will only have to download the new 1.2.7 files upon joining the server then. If you don't, then don't worry, all the files will download automatically but this will take longer to do so.

The files from the redirectional sites are has the game server i.e pk3 files, if not you would not be able to download any maps whilst in the game and play, it would result in a checksum or file fault error. Your issue could be how your computer's o/s see's the file format, it does not matter what icon is displayed on the file format for default opening just that the file type is .pk3, what is the issue you have?
