Just a quick update to this, if a members do suspect a player of cheating then can we please not ALL jump into spec to watch the said player, last week I picked up on a player that was mentioned in team chat when I was spectating and I noticed that (including myself) five members where specing him, if I can see that all of you are specing the said player, then they can too. Please bring this to the attention of one of the admins or cheat busters if they are available on the server, if not then please just two members spec the said player and record the demo's, it will be less suspect to the offending playing if he continues to play against members. If urgent then please use the forum chat, team speak or xfire to contact an admin asap.

The server is now running.

We are in the process of moving our primary servers from a Windows O/S over to a new Linux box, this was meant to happen last week as previously posted by due to network constraints, the switch over was postponed. For some unknown reason the host moved the ip addess of 109.70.149.28 to the new box at 20:20hrs last night even though I had repeatable told them that this change over had to happen at 10am on a day when I was available, this has now left our ETPub server in limbo. All servers 109.70.149.28 are currently running but are not connectable, this is due to a conflict issue with TCAdmin and the Linux box, TCAdmin is showing that the servers are running via the web console but they are not assign on that ip address on the box. I have written a scathing support ticket to the host regarding this as I am currently working 12hr nights and have no time to rectify issues and set up servers once the ip conflict is rectified, I have told them exactly what I want doing and the importance of getting at least the ETPub server back up and running asap, when this will happen though, I don't know. This comes just as the Hetzner boxes closes due to lack of use so unfortunately ETPub2 will not be available for use.

Sorry for the disruption, there was a huge attack, not aimed at GD, which caused massive network disruption, things do look to be returning to normal now, we'll post an announcement in your billing area and keep that updated with any further info. Please still consider this an at risk period, due to the nature and size of the attack, things will and have been moving slower than normal. Due to the network being affected, this has meant we couldn't address support queries, hence the delay. Please also accept our apologies for this too.

The ETPub server will suffer some downtime tomorrow (12-08-14) from 10:00 GMT due to the ip moving to another box, once the ip as moved, the server will be re-installed and restarted as soon as possible, hopefully without much delay. Postponed

Hi, nice introduction, a vast of experience in the ET world. I recognised the name but it was the avatar that made me remember you from Splash damage and TE666 site, glad you enjoy the server and hope you enjoy your stay here.

Thanks to all that manged to turn out for this, unfortunately I was rather busy with other server issues but what I did see was a good turn out. Thanks to Smirre and Ailmanki who I know where working on the server to remove a few issues today whilst I was away at work, perhaps a new topic next on what people like or would like to see improved on for the next time.

Any issues with this server then please post asap, Smirre and Ailmanki have access to resolve the issues as I will not be at home until 8pm GMT tomorrow.
