After a hard days work, "let's go to the pub!". Awesome. But no, my friend just got her first car so we drove back to hers instead. I somehow got roped in to doing 2 hours of gardening to uncover a driveway that nature had reclaimed. I don't understand life.

£110 per month Poll Tax. And for what? Every road within half a mile of my house is closed by the police because the drains can't handle a light bit of rain. I live about 50 feet above any flood plain or water. Newcastle it doesn't matter but if this was in London it would make the 10 o'clock news and we'd never hear the end of it.

Lol I can totally see Grobar ringing the bell at Kathie's place in Groningen.
"Is Kathie home?"
- No she heard you were coming and went to the other side of the planet

Ask yourself if what you're doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow. Get out of your comfort zone because today is YOUR day.. to start fresh, to eat right, to train hard, to live healthy, to be proud. It's impressive what some can do, isn't it?

I took the car from work to home, which is where i want to be tomorrow. Does that count?

I have long had a fear of public speaking. So being on a course all week that involves public speaking seemed like my nightmare scenario. But I chose to go in fighting and have come out stronger and confident. Perseverance and passion is so much better than running away from your phobias.

I know this problem and have had to deal with it through high school and higher education as well. Up until I was like 15 I used to learn the presentations word by word from heart. Worst tactic ever. Wish I had better guidance at the time. Later I learned it's easier if you know what you are talking about and speak from knowledge instead of from a paper. That being said I remember the nervous feeling going up to the moments of public speaking and it really wrecked the first part of my day always. Always had to take a crud before one lol. On the other hand I used to relax a bit more once I started talking and always concluded that it wasn't as bad as I made it out to be, until the next time...
To this day I still prefer conversations in small groups, and Im never the loud one in big groups.
Only on ET. hihi.
