    dual monitor setup

http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/138531/how-to-move-a-fullscreen-game-to-the-second-monitor I found the suggestion with "windows key + P" intriguing. But having no dual monitor setup, I can't test it.
  3. Maybe et is starting with the Intel gfx instead of nvidia. Make sure it always uses nvidia card.

  6. I google your specs, and hit 99% msi laptops. Try this: Under 3D Settings -> Manage 3D settings -> Program settings, for WolfET, turn "Threaded Optimization" off (in lieu of On or Auto). Updating drivers will most likely not help at all, as bartmen already said, but still try updating those provided by MSI - if there are any updates. More on this, its apparently an issue between Realtek and Punkbuster; and also affects other games. So start by having latest punkbuster. So use this http://etkey.org/pages/punkbuster/auto---install-for-windows-by-harlekin.php and get latest available pb for ET. Lastly try this (from http://en.kioskea.net/faq/8280-freeze-battlefield-bad-company-2 ): Still the easiest will be to buy a usb soundcard for 1€ or something..
  7. Ok I suppose you got a MSI Laptop? First check if there is a newer version available for your soundcard&laptop on their website. http://www.msi.com/support/ Reason is those MSI Laptops have a lot of software bundled, and some of it might not work with latest drivers. Most likely some sound enhancing sofware like THQ. Well if you want to experiment right from the start.. lol.. Download the newest driver directly from Realtek, thing is - this might make more problems then solve - on the other hand, it might make no problems at all and fix all. Click this link, http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsview.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false Then click the checkbox and press next, then download the driver for I suppose 64bit Windows 8.1 - and install it. In worst case you will have to uninstall it again, and install the one from your manufacturer.
  8. You could use a modded driver for realtek - dunno if it makes more problem or solves em - in any case its pretty awesome, http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/xfi-mod-is-back.183809/page-4
  9. Try setting net_port different for both clients. This needs to be set at best on command line. So best make a shortcut for it, and add this to the parameters.. For first client: +set net_port 27960 For second client: +set net_port 27961 Since I never had this problem, I am not sure if this will help, but it probably is the solution.
  10. What gfx card do you have? And did you install the gfx drivers for it?
  11. Please post details about your soundcard, and driver version.

    help with proxy

There should be some fast download server having those, but maybe it served directly from the server, easiest would be to have someone zip em up and upload for you. Or maybe add the fast download ip to your tool. But ehrm no clue which one that is, or if your tool can do that.

  17. Welcome I play to on windows 8.1, no probs so far. You can apply this patch http://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.ch/2010/03/markc-windows-7-mouse-acceleration-fix.html for the mouse.. but thats all. custom res: set r_mode -1 set r_customwidth 1920 set r_customheight 1080 and if you use ATI/AMD, fix fps issue with: set r_primitives 2
