Wolf Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Weird for me seeing as I barely lag and I was lagging on Nitmod, my ping is always around 6 - 15 was playing on Etpub just before that and had no lag at all soon as I went to nitmod I kept getting lag spikes. Need help Quote
abdlTURK Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Dont play on Nitmod, this is my help.. Quote
Micha! Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Do you use a config? Maybe nitmod settings are different. Do /rate 25000 and try /cl_maxpackets 40-100 with different values. Are fps stable? Quote
bartmen Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 my autoconfig doesnt work in nitmod, have to load it again when im ingame Quote
Founders MiniMuppet Posted July 31, 2013 Founders Report Posted July 31, 2013 could have been the server if etpub was ok, did anyone else have any lag? Quote
Smirre Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 my autoconfig doesnt work in nitmod, have to load it again when im ingameyour autoexec has been overwritten by nitmod (it creates autoexec.cfg) if you did any changes via options. Rename your own cfg to yourname.cfg and then do needed changes from options. I asked last night if ppl had lags and none had anything unusual. Need to change log files to fresh tho, but cant do it when server running. Quote

MagWAR Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 I found something that helped me allot but I want to make sure that its safe before I continue doing it. I selected task manger (windows) when I was in et and went to the icon ET.exe I then selected priority high? this ended allot of my lag however it did say this may cause system instability so I play for 5 mins with it and had no lag. I just wanted to check with anyone who thinks this is a bad idea and may end up doing damage to my computer. thanks magwar Quote

I just know that etpro is turning off the multicore cpus. Etpro always uses just one cpu.I tried to assign etpro to an extra cpu and it worked for me. However this isn't Wolfs problem since he has stable 125 fps. Quote
