Recoil cfg

Hello,

I did not know exactly where to put this post, so I hope I chose the right one.

I was asked whether a anti Recoil cfg script was considered cheating and would he get banned if he used it. 

I told him that I honestly did not know the answer.... so now Im asking any of you. Is it cheating to run that kind of script ?

It was mainly for his K43 sniper rifle

Sniper Recoil Scripts

On most servers that script is pretty much useless due to cvars restrictions

Well if someone says a lot of ppl uses it.. I would also like to know. :D 

I only knew fps tips on that..

well the fps thing does work (here atleast) but the cl_pitchspeed is restricted and also +lookdown command doesn't work in etpub as far as i know

This one caught me off guard and I had to go ask other admins and recruiters because let's face it, I'm hopeless with anything ET.

@JaR Using something like this is allowed and he won't be banned for it. There are certain restrictions in place to stop it being too much apparently, and using it effectively still requires some form of being able to snipe. It is something anyone can edit/add in to their config much like changing fov for wielding certain weapons, or resolution, or the 50 million other things I don't understand.
