froggy
Hi all! The mortar is a long range heavy weapon, really efficient when you know how to use it The best way to inactivate the enemies mortar is using the mortar on it. Many times I encountered this situation: I am mortar, there is a mortar exterminating my team shooting from his spawnzone. If i use the mortar on it, i spawnkill and break the rules. Could you disallow mortaring from a spawnzone? (spawn camping) As mortar i NEVER shoot from the SZ cause i think it is unfair.
Ctrz
Mortar is pretty defensless when in action. So I dont see an issue, when its near spawn. In few maps, I think we have glassroof over spawn to prevent mortar camping there. But following the rules, you can kill the mortar in spawn with any light weapon as technically it shot first. Yep, but as long no one can pass to reach him he can kill without any risk... that's why i think it is unfair. Surely not essential, but unfair :-)
Boosted
Well, if it only would be allowed outside Spawn Area it would be killed even more easily and thus rendered useless. I often use Mortar which can be a Game Changer even if the Team im in is a lot weaker. I also get often killed (or do kill) while Mortaring the heck out of ppl. Its not easy but thats part of the War!
Stumpel
Just sneak with knife to spawn and backstab that mortar..
