Just remove mortar all the way and everybody is happy. How many players use it? 10? For others it is just pain in the ass

Well atm if the main server is full it is just awaiting connection. No redirection. I personally go to other servers when it gets full. Is there anyone who doesn't lag with 40 ppl? If there is he must be lying

Cheked the other TM servers. They are not even close to NOdownload server activity. An idea - decrease the etpub server slots and redirect ppl to some other server? I mean when it is 40 ppl it is so laggy that it is unplayable anyway.

So whatever you do don't put Minas (was it like 45 mins??) or in that case any of the really long maps. I mean 20 mins or above. Pretty sure adler,delivery,frost etc are voted above average since they are easy and fast maps. OT suggestion as well: remove or decrease mortar power. There is like handful of players who play it but most just hate getting killed by it. And when a fops standing near the mortar guy feeding ammo.....no comments. 2 players gone. I think a lot of ppl lag when server is close to full including myself. Don't have any problems with a little less players. Anyway it is way better than it used to be.

I've worked in helpdesk and the main isssue was - believe it or not - That's for the router then. Do you lag in different servers? Firmware up to date? Pingtest etc fine? Look at older post by Miki, strikerowner and someone else had also lag in question. Infrared you must have administrator rights to change priorities afaik. But since your fps is soo low i doubt it will help. Do you have integrated GPU or one by itself? If Nvidia then there is an easy way to fix it.

We should continue it in pm but: a random nickname cheating on a completely different server. What useful information would you gain from this?? Did he provide anything more? My point being is that it is completely useless topic in general. No matter what how good his intensions were.

The fact that you are posting it here i would recommend reinstall. Backup your cfg and etkey and give it a go.
