  9. Modified on OM server: - server snaps from 20 to 40 - geoIP = 1 - rate from 25-45k to 90k - cl_maxpackets range between 100 and 125 - voting percent from 60% to 50% - allowing nextmap vote option - externalized some scripts outside gameserver to reduce lags
  10. Maybe not everyday, lets say few times a week server is full.. And it is not-playable at all ..just fragging, artying, mortaring.. really pretty impossible to play the objective. //btw FLO solved most of things i proposed earlier. Hello, what could be done is the following: - for spawn protection, implement the script running on main ETL server, but: it also monitors team damage (and warns/kick) / it prevents mortar and MG42 to be used from heavy-protected zones / and not all maps are covered, e.g railgun or fueldump are not supported (yet), we would need to work on these to support the maps - server slots: no opinion on my side, let's wait opinion from other admins - next map: this option is available from wolfadmin level 10 and above, but we could allow the voting option. For server lag, I think it's mainly due to this server still running in 20 snaps whereas our main server now supports 40 snaps and 90k rate, which could be a big difference for people used to this smoothness. I think we could apply such configuration on this gameserver too without too much risk.
  13. Hey hey 🙂 First of all, let me praise admins ANDE and FLO for being very cooperative, extremely helpful, responsive, and dedicated to making the server better. Recently we applied some minor changes and also a big one -> now we have 2 additional maps. People accepted this open hands since many got bored playing over and over same maps again(including myself) 😊 Of course, there is still some space for improvements Here we go: Spawn area protection against heavy weapons. some players ignore the fixed spawn protection and use heavy weapons (bazooka, etc.) inside the spawn. Since I am often the only admin on the server, I can’t be present 24/7 to monitor and react. It would be very helpful to have the option Ande mentioned in a previous post — automatic warn & kick when heavy weapons are used inside the spawn. Maximum number of players. The server is currently set to 30 or even 32 players. In short, it becomes unenjoyable once this number is reached. Most maps are simply not designed for so many players. I would suggest reducing the limit — 24 max would be much better. SKIP MAP option sometimes we'd like to skip some map, but we can't since no vote option for nextmap.. On the other hand, me being admin level 8 don't have option to execute !nextmap. As i mentioned being the only active admin on this server sometimes i lack such pretty basic commands. Maybe giving us option to vote for next map can help in such situation... SERVER LAG many complain about server lag lately(including myself) at same time people who play other TM servers claim only Original Maps is lagging.. Can anything be done regarding this? Thanks //At the end let me invite other players to comment, suggest things to make the server better.

  25. Agree about vote.. Maybe for a first time we pick some commonly well accepted custom map (Braundorf, Venice, Adlernest, ...), for next one we vote.. either on forum or discord. I believe in festive time people will play more.. So if possible, we include additional map in December already.

  28. Well, Liberty, the facts are: 1. The AI wrote half of your text. 2. You pushed another player from behind and ran away, ruining his fun (evercore chased you and shot at you). He was pissed. 3. I wasn't, and am not, upset about this situation you caused, this is normal admin reaction. 4. The player people voted 'kick' was Outraaa or Noazzz from .IL clan - that's a fact, so stop lying. 5. You're accusing me of abusing commands. I didn't kick you, but I could have, you were just warned, yet you still got mad... Personally, I don't like kicking or muting players. 6. If you're not farming ammo or health packs or not healing as medic, most players will eventually get fed up and vote to kick you. 7. Some players teamkill me seconds before the map ends, and I have no problem with that. They do it face-to-face, and it's somehow funny. 8. My personal life and my ego have nothing to do with it. 9. Now you're acting really weird ( to put it mildly ) – first you say I need to get help because I'm taking my personal problems online, and then you want to bury the hatchet ??? ( that doesn't work in real life man ). 10. Cheaters, trolls, and hackers are not welcome on the Muppet server. 11. The Muppets will react (if they want to) to such behavior, and there's not much you can do about it. 12. Arguing with admins ( like you're doing now ) rarely ends well for players who don't respect the above rules. 13.
