I want to apologize to the entire ETWolf community for these 3 years where I often had a violent and impulsive behavior, due to a very difficult passage in my life, where I spilled all my rage when they told me gave the opportunity. Since my one-month ban, I've changed my way of being, I've worked on myself, I drink a lot less and my life is much more stable, I'm not looking for excuses, players who do not want to forgive me no worries, I have no hatred towards anyone, I often let my anger speak. I think you have seen my change since my return (at least I hope) I especially apologize to Cain. Wolft is an excellent game that I love, no matter who is right or wrong, I don't try to justify myself. Take care of yourself, I'm enjoying playing again and besides, I play much better by being calm. Thank you for your understanding, be blessed all without exception

  2. hey. ive been ratatata-ing around etlegacy main for awhile so i stopped by here tonight to say hi. you guys seem cool. also my dad used to play on ur servers quite a lot when i was a babi ( around 10 yrs old lmao) and i'd watch him shoot, guess that's why i got into the game : D. ive been around since 2012 and i dont play often anymore, unless i need to blow off some steam since i work long hours making nails for fancy ladies in finland. i like to make arts n play GAMEZ, i try to twitch stream whenever i have time, and i like photography : ) wish u a nice night ntmu

  3. Delete the map from the server, problem solved. It's the worst map for TM rules IMO :).

  4. Data: Spawn for attacking team is almost always 12s. Defending team usually in range of 16s-22s. Convert original ratio: Default is 20s attacking 30s defending. Apply that rule to 12s attack and u get 18s defending which seems to be good starting point. Tweak options: Attacking team spawn seems to be very stable around 12s. I would recommend only fiddle with defending team spawn if it is feeling unbalanced. Rule of thumb: Attacking team: 12s Defending team: 18s (balance options for defending team -2s, +2s, +4s) Conclusion: 4 possible settings come out of this rule that cover most of the current map settings. This guideline should work for most maps. 12s/16s 12s/18s 12s/20s 12s/22s Lower reinforcements times for defending team in smaller maps and higher in bigger maps seems to be a pattern as well. Possible due length that attacking team has to cover or it is easier to defend bigger open areas as team can scatter better. Dynamic map bias: When dynamic map bias is brought to game (https://github.com/etlegacy/etlegacy/issues/2317) it will be easier to decide which maps need adjustment and effect can be seen in real time. Server Data: Some notices: Frostbite: Mentioned in this post. Setting it to 16s on defense seems logical thing to do and it will share exactly same settings similar to other smaller maps. Oasis: 15s allies spawn is a mystery?. Make it 12s. Mostly hard map for allies and long distances to cover. Venice: 16s defending team seems out of pattern for bigger maps and it is usually hard map for allies. 18s is safe option or 20s if you brave enough. Goldrush: Can be made to 12s/20s just to get it on 12s attack too. Special delivery: 18s on defending team might be viable option as it is usually easier map for allies Full server usually makes it easier for defending team. Another thing to keep in mind is that setting that works in 20vs20 might not be ideal in 10vs10. Since main server is big server and in peak time most players experience it with lots of players so i also recommend taking the games happening with full/almost full server into account if deciding to make any change. There is ETL 2 server that will never reach this high amount therefore it is also logical that some maps could use different adjustments there

  6. Sk scripts is a tool to help members/admins to make their lives easier. Every sk you made is noted in history, so I assume your history is very interesting and this is not the single case of accidential mortar shot. Every member/admin can make own decision, script is not above the members act. You wrote that you are shooting at the edge of sk area and this is the problem. Just do not shot in such places and you will not get warns etc. If you doing it almost everyday we can make action like Jessica did: ban you for specific time. If this punishment will not make any change in your gameplay I assure you, your ban will be longer every time. And I will write it again , SK IS FORBIDDEN ON OUR SERVER, script is allowing to make 2 sk - first is a warn, second - gib and 3 is a kick but this not mean that you can sk 2 times everytime because script allows it. Just follow the rules and such situation will not take place again. If you are experienced mortar player you exactly know how to use this weapon and calculate place where shot will hit, so there is no any excuses for you. For the last: JUST FOLLOW THE RULES

  7. Lost's idea was to try out the 32bit version of Legacy so I did. I also noticed the sky was bugging on the problematic maps so I added /seta r_fastSky "1" to my cfg. One of the two apparently seems to have worked, at least I managed to play Decay without issues today. Thanks for the help lost.

  9. Disabling the axis spawn nearest to the radio would create a huge bottleneck on the ladder. I imagine it would only take 2-3 allied players to completely block any axis coming up the ladder and after that, axis have no chance to defend the objective or radio from either spawn available. As for the flag, I agree it should be made a permanent spawn after a certain time. But I'm not sure if most of the sk would still be allowed as there technically is another exit available (towards the beach)? Of course permanent spawn means axis could no longer shoot right into the spawn so that's still something.

  11. i can try make 2 spawns for axis with marker to choose: Under the room next to radio room (12 slots) Bunker closer to CP (12slots)

  12. Keep it as it is now As Lost says very it's difficult for allies tbh. Lots of stages and none are easy, not even cp Also just adds interest that you can get an extra 3 mins with just one gold

  13. This map is 100% in axis favour. Most of the time allies cant even take a flag, so in my opinion, extra times should not be changed I checked wrong option should checked yes

  19. First of all, if you connect to our server with the idea to go and piss of the enemy you're wrong to begin with. You claim to know how to hit close to the edge of what's allowed. If you stay within those margins, you're fine. But you're playing with fire by choosing to aim this close to the allowable. Tip: when setting up your mortar it might be better to start aiming further away from the edge and move your way up to prevent warnings. It's already explained a couple times, but since you didn't (want to) understand, I'll repeat it again. The sk script is there to help us spot players who often break the rules. Just because the script doesn't auto-kick you untill you break the rule 3 times in a map, doesn't mean you get to spawnkill 2 times every map without consequences. All your warnings are being logged in your personal history list and like Ande said, your record is huge. At some point we have to step in when there are too many warnings. Jessica was actually very nice to ban you for just 1 day, because it's usually longer. I bet this ban was done to get your attention and look, it worked. If you continue to break the rules and your history builds up even further, you will be banned again (and longer). You're free to search for the edges and limits, but don't be surprised if there will be consequences if you go over the edge. Many times. It has nothing to do with you personally. Like Flo said, it's purely based on facts. Your history doesn't lie. Calling someone an admin abuser for banning you 1 day because you've had over 200 warnings is actually quite hilarious. It's not like we kick, ban or do whatever command for fun. And we certainly don't feel like gods. In an ideal world we wouldn't even be needing these commands, but we've got to maintain a fun and playable server for 50 people. Sometimes we have to step in. You're always free to go if you feel discouraged, you will be deeply missed. And finally, you can joke around all you want about the kicks and bans, but in the end the joke is on you.

  21. Also I would like to mention on SP_Delivery, Allies wins this map 90 percent of the time and the reason for that is quite simple. Allies spawntime is 12 seconds while axis spawntime is 20 seconds.

I find the suggestions in the opening post quite reasonable, however the discussion has drifted towards more drastic changes and we all know nothing of the kind will be implemented on such a successful server. Taking a few nades off or changing spawntimes maybe but bigger changes in classes seem unlikely to me. People prefer different things, as annoying as they may be, and that's their prerogative. Medics want to limit nades and heavy, engis want to limit medics... Quite logical, however the suggested changes depend on who you ask so there's really no way to please everyone.

  29. This topic is just to tell you that nothing is written in stone and it is worth to get feedback sometimes. I've seen a lot of online communities in my life and I've seen a lot of overreacting admins, who were feeling as GODS... You know: limitless power, kicking, banning, punishing... WOW! First: people start joking about them... but later: got simply discouraged and left because of continuous conflicts generated. I hope that thank to this topic Jessica will think about cooling down a little bit, loosing pants and letting people play on open server (even the disliked people) - just like the other members do. Maybe it will also stop jokes about his kicks and bans...
