  3. Yes, client crash, we need to be clear on the feedback, please use your uptime command when you reconnect to the server to distinguish between the two, the server reboots at 04:45 hours GMT every morning for your information.

  7. Lol, that's one for the developers, that's a good find and explains why I saw nothing for two days. We did have a DDOS attack yesterday, around 12:15 but it was mitigated straight away and finished less that 10 mins later.
  8. @Eagle_cz can you check the logs for this? We are at work so won't be able to do this, I streamed the log live Saturday and Sunday all day whilst watching the rugby and didn't see one bad byte issue

  11. The server as not crashed today, I have had a client on all day with no issues and the uptime is correct, since the scheduled restart at 04:45hrs, do you mean your client crashed?
  12. We may be getting our wires crossed on this, I'm only talking about an event server and not would should or should not be added to the main server, as far as I am concerned the event server would have the full xmas mods and maps as added.
  13. @ryven I think I can safely say that the new build is the most stable yet, we have had no crashes since the installation and I have streamed the console log live on many occasions now and there have been no bad command byte issues or 999 bug, this build seems to have eradicated those bugs. There have been a couple of clients disconnected due to time out but these must have been client side issues though they stated it was a bug I saw nothing to confirm that. I would encourage anyone now that sees any issues either connection or gameplay to post again so they can be captured, even if they have been posted before the developers may have thought they have fixed the issues but these may have returned under the new build.

The skins are as per DMXJ's post, The axis are in dark uniforms with green faces and red hats, the allies are in light uniforms with blue hats, the axis medics are in red dresses and the allies medics are in green dresses, not quite sure where the confusion is. All UJE maps on the server are Xmas objective maps (did you play any?) except for UJE Xmas room which is a 10 minute fun sniper map where you can only select covert op, I have not included any map that is played on the normal servers so this is totally different.

Increasing the level of the field ops from anything other than zero will increase its charge time bringing it back to the same situation, the charge time cvar makes no difference, increasing the soldier will allow then to near constantly fire the mortar as before, medics level was reduced months ago to three to stop adrenaline, to be honest guys we have had this debate many times over the life of the game and you can never keep everyone happy no matter what you do. ETL is not really set up for our game type 6 regarding skills nor the map vote screen not being default at end of map, the dev's will say its how we set our server up, they have designed it so you have to play the game each map and build your skills that map, we have given skills to try and make it a level playing filed for all clients no matter when you join the server.

Please install as Mini as posted above, I would assume that when the dev's test their builds they all use the latest ETLegacy client and not an old vanilla? though it may be an issue the dev's can look at moving forward if the mitigation of the bad byte issue is simply a change of client then that's what is needed. @street aka steve

Thanks for the information, I saw the crash as I was streaming the console live as well as network and system resources, there where no issues, the server just restarted without any error or command so unfortunately I have nothing to feed back to the devs regarding this. I saw the bad command byte for client 20 and 24, what client are you using?
  24. We installed a new build in the early hours of Sunday morning so please pass on issues since then. We have suffered a few server crashes which is being looked into at the moment, I have seen a few more clients crash out seeing 999 in game, this is not the freeze issue but if you suffer a client crash then please post your client details and what you where doing at the time. We did suffer lag yesterday across all servers, this was a DDOS attack which was just under our mitigation threshold for ten minutes before being vacuumed up, I've have contacted the host regarding the DDOS threshold and that sits with them.
