Why'd Cluedo get removed in place of Ice?

I like Hydro dam, although I've not played it with more than a 10v10. I always like maps like this where you can attack or defend at the same time, with back passages and sneaky ways. It just needs the timer fix so it ends like Purefrag. I like Cluedo too! That should have been added ages ago when we were asking for fun capture the flag type maps. Again, I haven't played it on a full server, but I can see it becoming crowded and the flamers getting horny over all the kills. Goldrush GA ... it's goldrush. From what I can tell people vote for it equally as much as the original. Downside - we play goldrush every 5-7 maps. Chateau? My opinion but it's the worst map I've ever played on a TM server. And I've played things like Helms Deep and Minas Tirith. I played it the most out of all the new maps and I still dunno the underground parts. I usually get the layout of a map after 1 maybe 2 playthroughs but this is just ridiculous Everyone just runs around like headless chickens. I've also never seen axis win. Not played Praetoria. I've never played Hydro Dam but this for whoever does the server/map settings ... It's possible to set a time limit with a server side cvar. Now it's easier to run the map either in stopwatch mode or in a campaign. See "Setting a time limit" for more information. A time limit can be set to 20,25,30,45 or 60 minutes. This is controlled by a cvar "hydro_timelimit" which can be set on the server. "sets hydro_timelimit 45" for example, sets the time limit to 45 Minutes. When the limit is reached, the winning team is chosen randomly (not in Stopwatch mode). Setting the cvar to any other value than the ones I've listed above will disable the timelimit. The timer will start at 666 minutes but the map won't end until one team finishes it. If you don't want a timelimit, there's nothing to do for you Unless I've missed something that is 3 seconds of research lol. 45 minutes is still a long long time, but it's not indefinite. It does no harm in substituting maps for other versions. People won't leave if we get rid of Goldrush, Battery, Fueldump, Radar or Railgun for other versions. The whole point is to get an idea and try different maps on the main server. I'd support getting rid my most favourite maps in favour of trying alternate versions of classic boring maps. On a personal note I'm not sure if it was at the event but Phoenix's Radar? Where you had to guide the truck after capping the parts, it had a tank etc etc. I liked that version. He made a special post on these forums somewhere and we got rid after trying it for a couple days on beginners a year ago.

Wasn't Miraro rejected for lack of good English? Paul was rejected for a misunderstanding/miscommunication. Of course I'm going off the assumption he was rejected for his lack of hours played and time in spec. If he was rejected for spawn killing? Idk, members do it, I do it, friends do it. It's just easy to pick on because it's amplified 100 times being a trialist.

They monitor how many hours you've clocked up playing. If TB says you've only been playing long enough to be ranked 3 hours without a good reason, they'll post it in the thread about you. If you go spec like you say it won't give you many hours played. The members just jump on the band wagon and say yes or no for any reason - stupid reasons, least they did when I could see it. I didn't get to know you much at all, but based off this I'd say you should be a TM. Maybe recruiters should reopen the poll now everyone knows why he goes spec and stuff. TM is more than a server.

Because the vote was a draw ... and events these days last 2 hours give or take before people leave - which isn't many maps ... why not hold it on both saturday and sunday? o.o Depending on what maps get voted for or chosen ... Minas Tirith can be really long if people want it played properly ... and I'm sure there's some 20-30 minute maps that have been mentioned.

We need more maps capable of having snipers imo. Minas Tirith would be good

Seeing as this will lead to maps added on the only half active server we have, they aren't new but can I suggest .... Replace Battery http://et.trackbase.net/map/3/ with Battery SW http://et.trackbase.net/map/75/ Replace Goldrush http://et.trackbase.net/map/4/ with Goldrush GA http://et.trackbase.net/map/30/ OR Goldrush SW TE http://et.trackbase.net/map/118/ Reasons are obvious. And I agree with Cluedo and Hydro Dam. Beyond me why they haven't been tried before. Balde spoiled my post then, ignore the first part.

It was a pain for me to join, getting errors and the awaiting connection. Can't remember what they were now but after 3 or 4 tries it let me in. But t'was fun, just wish people stayed longer
