What do you guys think of these maps? Dingenskirchin and Stiglitz. They both have Legacy ties I think? The latter won TB's map of the year.

Axis attack maps are gems and very hard to find a good one. Possible additions so far: Any ETL map / GR_sw / Missile b3 / ufo / village / supply night / warmup / alder 2 / transmitter / saberpeak / paris bastille Possible removals so far: Berserk / Lighthouse / Market Garden / River 2 / Xposed / Keep the suggestions coming. On wednesday I'll make a poll and you guys decide on it all Please note though, if you want to add a different version of a map (Alder / Gr / Missile / Supply) we might have to remove the current version of it. We don't want a server with 10 maps, but 3 versions of each. We can get away with a couple but not too many.

I have to admit I had no idea some of the maps were on the server. I may look at removing more than two. I'll watch and see if they are played at all over the coming week and if not they will go. If votes are tight then I'll also add more than 2 to replace them. @Eagle_cz I think Legacy has the lua where a map is no longer available to be voted for until it's been like 10 maps since it's last play? So players won't see the same maps over and over again. That's why there's 30 ish maps in the pool, as 10 are always unavailable.

BOOM! Now that Santa is gone back into hiding let's have a look at maps on Legacy. In the spoilers below are the current maps available to vote for. The stock 6 maps are also in the rotation which means we have 2 versions of Oasis on the server. Hmm. To add a map to the server we need to remove a map, probably. So post below what map, if any, you don't want to see on Legacy for the foreseeable future. Also post what addition you would like to make to the map pool. Please ask for maps with omnibot support, in quiet hours the bots want to play too. I'll leave this open for you guys to chit chat about for like a week, then I'll make a poll with everyone's choices for you to vote in. We'll look at removing 2 and adding 2 in their place. Sound fair? Just remember, if anyone wants to recommend Minas Tirith then you'll get insta-promotion to my personal secretary. First come first serve though.

It's okay to suggest maps to us like he has, gives us a touch more work to do but meh. We'll make sure there's an agreement among the community on what is added or removed from the server, that's why I tagged you guys first. Given the feedback Nararone won't be added but keep the suggestions coming. If you asked me to add any MLB map to any other TM server I would say no. Decent as maps go but every single time we add them to be played they kill the server. Every. Single. Time. Alas I don't know Legacy and it's community all that well yet. I'll add it to the list of "possible" additions for Legacy. sw_goldrush_te is not on the server atm? We'll look at Warmup and get back to you - need to see if it has bot support first. We could add different versions of maps already available and we have done it in the past on Pub. We had a lua in place to stop us playing supply and supply night back to back so people wouldn't get tired of it but the lua ended up failing. I'm happy to add a different version of one or two maps but be prepared for the possibility to play them back to back depending where votes go. I'll do something more official about maps after the new year is out of the way and everyone is back to the good old slog at work. Get people voting and having their say and so on. Or maybe I'll get @Matu to do it Keep any suggestions and discussion coming. We all want Legacy to be the best it can be.

It's not my most favourite map. Big back door. Kill zones. But I know stuff rolls differently on Legacy. Does it have omnibots support? I can't find my go-to link @Bystry @sed @bumpermajn2 @Musher @kujaw @walden @ketiv You guys play more than me and it's better to have more opinions on map changes otherwise I'd add Minas Tirith everywhere heh. It depends really. I'd be lying if I said we were as active as we used to be. Back then we had 2 servers in the top 20 or even top 10, now we struggle for one server in the top 40 of rankings. It doesn't help the people playing ET has shrunk massively. It depends when you wanna play but some times you might just be banging bots, others it'll be a 4v4 and peak times it'll be a 8v8. All I can say is check us out on the server or on trackbase and see what is happening. Looka me making our servers look good aha .. ha ..... ha.

Yo! Long time no see. Jaymod is long and buried for tech reasons and we replaced it with Nitmod but you'd be lucky get a 5v5 there in peak times. Everyone plays on Pub now but Legacy has been getting it's fair share of players too recently. My favourite Jaymod memory though? I don't have one. Honestly I loved every single day playing with everyone and I miss some people so much. I couldn't pick one moment as even the everyday stuff was awesome Gave you member status back so you can see more of the forums and stuff.

This one caught me off guard and I had to go ask other admins and recruiters because let's face it, I'm hopeless with anything ET. @JaR Using something like this is allowed and he won't be banned for it. There are certain restrictions in place to stop it being too much apparently, and using it effectively still requires some form of being able to snipe. It is something anyone can edit/add in to their config much like changing fov for wielding certain weapons, or resolution, or the 50 million other things I don't understand.

A bit off topic but can't the human eye only register like 60 fps? So anything that can go higher is just a waste of money. I heard that somewhere on the internet so it must be true I'll see if I can change it, if not I'll tell @Niki I broke the server EDIT/ I changed it from 85 to 333 in the 3 etconfigs but it did nothing and it's still locked at 125, so I dunno where it's reading that from. At least the server isn't broken heh. @Eagle_cz

I think the engi and medic hp is fine for what settings we have on the server. Fast shooting negates what good medics can do ... usually ... kinda Admins are chatting about stuff to basically get people playing and server settings are one of them, but I'm personally hesitant on changing core things. We'll see what happens. Changing trip mines like that might need something changed which the admin team just aren't capable of unfortunately. Fine tuning like that is difficult. If you have a cap of say 10 trip mines per team and that is distributed between the engi evenly then I like that, but if it's like 10 each then god no haha. But like I said. Difficult. We can add and remove whatever maps people like, but keep in mind they need to have waypoints, and massive maps will probably be rejected due to the how many frequent the server. X-Labs and anything MLB are far too big, and CTF maps like steelplant need special map configs or they just won't end. Or something.
