Want to remind here, that we do still have etpub and silent server up and running. Especially silent could use some help with the activity. And for the eager jaymod players: a temporary jaymod server is coming up for the time being, just till we get the old server back online. Smurfer should post the temporary ip when he is ready with the setup. Big thanks to him for doing this!

Yes basicly it means run et on 1 core only. By default it is set to run with all cores. If i remember right cpu1 is what windows os uses, so better run et on some other then = less load, better performance. @Jaden: Did you try reinstall audio driver? And also try cleaning your et folders from any not needed pk3 files, too much will cause issues, again IF i remember right.

You could try reinstalling your sound device driver. If you have a integrated soundcard on your motherboard, you might need to reinstall your OS. //EDIT here: forgot to add, that this isn't the first time this has been a issue and reinstalling OS was the final cure for this, but keep it as final fix! And who knows if VIRUS has lurked in your system Do a scan also. If you have external soundcard, disable the motherboard sound device, these 2 together often cause issues. Also try running et on 1 core only: run et -> press ctrl + alt + delete -> find et on running processes list and click mouse right button -> select "set affinity" -> uncheck cpu1 box (or vice versa).

In case you get kicked for duplicate guid: press ctrl + alt + delete and you see all your running programs. Look for any et applications running and just shut down that process, then just reconnect on server and have fun.

Well you could disable pb for good: 1. click start button 2. type services on search bar (do not press enter!) 3. press mouse right button on top of services 4. choose run as administrator 5. you get list of ALL programs that start with windows, now search PnkBstrA 6. press mouse right button on top of it and choose properties 7. choose "startup" (<--- not sure about the word how it is, but it is the dropbox there) and select "not in use" 8. pb services should now be disabled after reboot.

188.40.127.132:27310 this server has mapvoting and like any other mapvote, it repeats same map over and over if no votes are cast. There was a fix for this (a lua). Other than that, steady, but hard to hit head.
