    ET Crashed

    This topic is for ETPUB nodown ONLY!!! I got more than couple of informations about or similar to "server crashed", "my ET crashed", "why my ET was closed for unknown reason" and etc... But basically it's always connected with our ETPUB server and it will happen directly near by end of round or exactly when map ending. if you notice this 'crash', please look at your ETPUB folder ( C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etpub ) and look for file named etpubc_crash.log. In this file you will find lines similar to lines below: -8<------- Crash Information ------->8- Please forward to etpub mod team. --------------------------------------- Version: 20140820 Win32 Map: stargate_1945 Exception: Access violation (0xc0000005) Exception Address: 0x21f4663b DLL Information: 0x00400000 ET ...etc For all who are curious what is wrong with our server, in general NOTHING. Problem is on ETPUB mod and honestly it need more detailed analysis to be sure where exactly problem is, but it looks like problem in the source code (in one function for example connected with Exception: Access violation (0xc0000005) and etc.) For right diagnosis procedure, I will be really glad, if you can send me via PM your etpubc_crash.log file and few lines about when this crash happend (or what you tryed to do before crash) - also append info about time until end of map/round and current date when it happened. For this purpose, please, use subject (PM): Crash report Thank you so much for cooperation!

    ah, i don't have words... Someone said "You don't know what you've got, until you lose it". maybe this is main point - Mr.Craig wrote about heart of TM and I think that you both are like our virtual parents ... many times you were tried to give helping hand, you both were here when someone needed to talk,... Its sad that you decided to do this decision but it's completely understandable and must be respected. But it can't change my current sad feeling ...one page ended but story will continue! I really hope that you will be still around and THANK YOU alot for everything that you have done for this great community family !

  11. Hardly mate, hardly... It seems like this implementation of BBCode won't work with this 'extra' params like "border" and etc. incl. CSS ... or, there could be a way how to do it, but it is question for IP Board developers (second idea - for Mr.Craig only: I can add wysiwyg editor and etc to game-files server and link it with this forum - what you think about it?)

    Internet Issues.

    lol, read this: >>>> P.S. I do not have this problem on my game PC wich is also connected wireless to our network. back to duro's problem. It could be problem with dhcp on router - try to test your wireless conn. with your mobile phone and etc. But, in general, it could be on your wireless lan network card. First try to disable power save on that card (under device manager) and also try to look for some settings like roaming mode and disable it. Also disable IPv6 - if you using IPv4 only. If problems presist, just remove your drivers and install it again and you will see. btw. what wireless network card you have ? (HW ID and etc?)

  20. problem was solved ... ( wrong paths and also wrong version of etpub - without omnibot support) ...
  21. ok, mr. is right ... problem is with your directory tree but also i am curious about errors that you got. There also could be problems with version of etpub/omnibot because not all version working together ... Try to catch me on chat or on TS and i will try to help you 'online' - becouse it could be very long run by this way also later i will try to create small 'quick howto' with screenshots how to do it correctly, but give me same time pls
  22. hmm, have you tried to use cmd: bot addbot from console ? btw. use right cmd for your shortcut - it isnt fs_game omni-bot but smt like this: C:\PATH TO ET\ETDED.exe" +set fs_game etpub +set omnibot_enable 1 ...and others options
