Eagle_cz Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 Someone asked me if we can turn on some kind of friendly-fire damage. To reflect the same damage to the player that caused the damage. Idea is to do it for regular weapons only (so not for arty/airstrike, mines and so). Problem is that this ability is not implemented yet on ET:L server and if we will want to do this, it will be on my own backs to make it with LUA. Because it's connected with reasonable ammount of work, I need to know your opinions first.
Voidhead Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 A no for me , even with mp40/thompson sometimes a teammate just walks through your line of fire and you accidently hit them , it wouldnt be fair to be punished for that imo. 1
Ande Posted September 30, 2019 Report Posted September 30, 2019 Yea, i agree too. We have kick for team bleeders
Ctrz Posted September 30, 2019 Report Posted September 30, 2019 Maybe autokick if teamdamage/kills exceeds set amount..? I think there is more teambleeding with mines, nades, rnades, panzer, mortar than with smg ..
Matu Posted September 30, 2019 Report Posted September 30, 2019 Sometimes you need to make a little damage to heal and some of our members have gotten into certain age, where their eyesight aint the same what it was years ago,so have mercy on us!
Bystry Posted September 30, 2019 Report Posted September 30, 2019 I agree with everyone above, it's a no for me as well. Accidental team damage happens a lot, especially with that amount of people on the server.
Nitmod Admin StaR Posted September 30, 2019 Nitmod Admin Report Posted September 30, 2019 A lot of times the medics that babysit me, shoot me once or twice to fully heal me and I feel like it has become a somewhat important factor for the playstyle on our server. I really need it... I mean we really need it
Jessica Posted September 30, 2019 Report Posted September 30, 2019 It seemed a good idea. I would have voted YES, but against 12 NO voters it will have no use. I understand why you all voted NO : Why build sometihing that hurts everyone, for the few that needed to get punished. Our Eagle is smart enough to ask you before he builds it 2
Eagle_cz Posted September 30, 2019 Author Report Posted September 30, 2019 ok guys, it looks quite clear ... thanks for your opinions /decision taken - no to this feature.
