Error code 40: Windows cannot access this hardware because its service key information in the registry is missing or recorded incorrectly. Try uninstalling it, and install again. If that doesn't help, try to connect it to an usb-hub with external power.

Miki, I'm no expert but it looks like you got problem on the way to the game server. Don't think its much you can do for that bartmen, hard to see on that rather small pic but afaik it looks good

When it happens, do a trace route. If you are on wifi, then the ping should be made at your end but its hard to tell.

I think you have the same as Mabrun had, not sure if its lack of puter-muscles or what

There are many factors that can be the issue here. Do you use wifi? Crossover? etc etc. Might start with what you play with

Used the clock when I played with mortar, back in my heydays. Amazing how accurate it can be For that matter its the same with arty and airstrike, there is a loop hole in gold rush. Time the airstrike correctly, toss it on the bridge and keep facing the canister and you blast the axis team to kingdom come hehe...and since it was tossed on the bridge, and not at axis spawn, its not SKing... *innocent whistle*

Nothing at all. You could always try to lower the settings, turn off sky etc and see if that helps. One more thing I haven't done, but are considering, is to tweak cfg but I think I need a cfg-wiz for that

I have lag spikes from time to time, and if the map is huge and/or crowded then happens more often but other then that it runs just fine. I have a new iMac with all the raw brute force to run it, it might have something to do with your lag.

I don't I play on iMac and have no problem with the ALT key, if I press it nothing happens. What happens when you do?

Due to hardware changes done to mac, and combined with the latest OS, it was not possible to play on pub. Just lately have I found a work around via Crossover, and are now indeed playing on pub. Jesus saw two of me, so he was clearly drunk

Just download the game, either here or from splash damage, then double click on the exe file and the install process starts. Once its done, the game is good to go
