I don't know the coding side of et, but we already have disabled mortar on some maps, so other weapons are surely doable also. But I feel like there's been so many limitations to make gameplay better... Ofc I'm not against stuff like our sk script, flo has done amazing work there pretty quick. But I think a lot of "problems" are just a result of huge server. If we chopped server to 20 slots, most of this would be gone

First of all, to clarify the conditions for limits: 14 people total, so 7v7 excluding specs, I'd hope. And limiting 1 soldier and 2 rifles would be per team, therefore 2 soldiers and 4 rifles total. I think 1 soldier per team wouldn't be great. Imagine someone less skilled (like myself) takes mortar, spends 5 shots just getting aligned, land few, respawn for ammo and repeat. Altogether very little impact on game,while nobody can pick panzer or MG... Therefore I voted "other" with my suggestion being: under 14 players, allow 2 soldier per team and 2 rifles also (as originally suggested) Ps I see player Majrik in one of the screenshots... Whoever sees him, pls let him know that "cyber says you smell"... He'll know what I mean 😁

Could you just kick those bots that pick fdops? Idk how it works, maybe new bot will pick fdops again. Or not, might be random?

I was there yesterday when Adlernest was finished with time of 3 at the end screen. I didn't like that, but didn't mind too much as its not my favourite map. If same happens on beach invasion, it really annoys me because ei like the map a lot and would like to enjoy it. So I agree with you, very short maps like that are annoying and don't really add to enjoyment of the game, especially if you're on loosing side. That said, I don't really like timing the objective "lock" idea. It just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe because I've seen some discussions about limiting this and that and changing things to make people play certain way (begginers medic) and maybe this suggestion is just little over the line of me liking the change. Of course that's my opinion. In general, it seems like reasonable suggestion 🤷

I'll do even on better here is some of the most played maps with the spawnkill limits marked out and described. If in doubt, check this page And as for your exact case that happened, let's see: if your mortar shot landed indeed on the roof or inside, which would seem to be OK. However, the script takes position of damaged player, not landing spot of mortar round. So you might have aimed on roof but probably dealt dmg to someone in the protected area which is outside of the building (mortar has really big splash area). That's why you got warmed. It's better to err on side of caution, respect if you already have 2 warnings. Maybe next time consider very different spot away from spawn or different class altogether to avoid the 15 min kick I'm sure it was the script being triggered, it gives 15 min. Admins tend to show a bit of mercy if you're not serious offender ❤️

There shouldn't be any option to enable any more commands, it's all available in the voice chat menu, V key by default. So you'd press, for example, V56 for "great shot" or V51 for "yes". It might take a minute to find what you need if you're not familiar with the sections and which command is where. I only remember very few

Well this isn't "original wolf" and this kind of setting would have quite a big impact on gameplay without any reasonable point that I can see

This was the reason for setting the protected area as it is, regarding mortar. If it was extended further, mortar won't be able to shoot on gun platform. As for the 'how it works' : the script take position of player who got damaged by mortar (or heavy or whatever), not where the projectile lands. So you can basically extend the area that we give on forums a few meters any direction for limit of actual mortar round landing.

Voted cyan+red, but not quite what I'd like. Imo best would be light blue + red, whole line coloured. Light blue is easier on eyes than dark blue but still more allies-like than cyan. And make the whole line coloured so it pops out more in the mess of kill feed etc.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think we'll use your pictures, just because of the texture quality but we'll definitely go through and add it to the list, library is definitely popular map. It just might take a few days for us to discuss and reason for each area.

Yeah basically, I just didn't want to write it out. Basically limit all classes in number of players except soldier. Once current heavy limits are reached, rest uses smg only as sold... No 20 medics in one team,thats unplayable -

I don't know, jess... I'd even go as far as to give medics only luger/colt... You're supposed to heal, not fight. Smg is definitely fighting weapon. If you get attacked, just peel off enemy's health with pistol while running away and eating medapcks -
I don't like this suggestion. Imo the fast finish only happens when single person manages to sneak through, rather than a team actually pushing and winning.

I'm sure someone can find out who it is and deliver reward accordingly. As for screenshot, I've got 3 ways for you: 1) print screen key on keyboard, then open mspaint (or any other pic editor I guess) and save 2) command /screenshot 3) command /screenshot nameOfFileCreated I personally use third option for quick screenshot without leaving game and easy to find later

Voted no. Little exceptions like this open can of worms that come crawling out pretty quick. Also makes the rules harder to understand. I do see your point tho, not just dismissing the idea. Seems simple but if you start poking into it, I think there's a bunch of hole that can be easily exploited (like the covie stabbing full spawn).

I believe there was recently (or still is) issue when you use 64bit client in Windows. Do you run that version? I'd suggest the 32bit version. Other than that, I'm afraid I can't help. You might be able to get some more answers on our discord if you tag tech support they are quite helpful there
