Just to keep you guys updated. Italy has been removed due to the map causing the odd crash on the server. Saberpeak and Capuzzo Airport will be removed during this vote. While there are maps that are played less, these 2 seem to make people leave even though it's voted for. I like a good sniper map too ... even though I can't snipe. Oh well. Vote for big maps for Charlie!!

I understand this to be a bug in the latest Legacy version. It is fixed if we remove level 4 medic but it's just what I've heard. Nothing else fixes apparently. Like you said, needles are replenished by ammo crates so I guess a field op has another job for now  

Maybe someone else can inform us better.

The cvar will be updated in the next releases like he says above.

Alright so I got the impression we might have ignored or forgotten about the "flood" of suggestions that have come in recently regarding the server. I want to stress we want to change as little as possible as the server is working right now as it is. But if something is put to a vote then who am I to argue?

That said, help me to help you guys. Put everything in one place for me so it's all in one easy place for us to deal with if I have missed one out. I'm aware I've posted in some of these topics but my replies might have been lacking anything meaningful, and may not have been the final say. I'll bring all this to admins and we'll see what we can do and get back to everyone properly. Is there anything I have missed?

Full Server - Kick spec inactives. Second Legacy server + redirect. Inactivity cvar.

Shuffle Vote - Disable the shuffle vote after X time has passed

Clearer Rules - Clarify basic rules. Map specific rules highlighted.

Broken Bots - Bots do not attack or defend as intended. (Fixed)

Adrenaline - Add or remove adrenaline. (removed at the minute with level 4 medic removed)

We are having an issue or two with map scripts (Fuel dump CP spawn for example). (Fixed)

Just to update you guys.

You may have noticed the server crashing a couple of times lately, both when it is full and nearly empty only on Italy. We have had to remove this map from the server as we can't chance the server not crashing when the map loads, especially at peak times.

I liked camping that roof and pushing people off too. Ah well!

Ask Pharaoh and more often than not he'll move teams, but yeah his preference is allies. There's no harm in asking people to swap sides if you think it'll help the balance, 99% of people wanna have fun after all.

We should only use shuffle commands during warmup. You can do it at the end of the map but people leave and join between maps making it pointless. Only in rare and extreme cases should anyone shuffle mid map, and chances are there'll be an admin or recruiter to do that for you anyway. Now people are gaining SR on the server we should only be using !shufflesr to shuffle the teams by that stat and not xp.

Highly highly doubt we'll add an auto shuffle like Pro.

I dunno what the percentage is. Mini or Eagle would need to check.

Changing when a vote is available like that may require a lua, and the less we have on the server the better. Better to have the vote option and not need it than need it and not have it anyway I think.

We haven't tried last year's winner yet - Dinkenshirken or something. Maps will need bot support if they have any chance to be added to the server though.

If it's full for 10 minutes then just wait until the end of the map, people tend to leave then. But if it happens across several maps or it starts happening more regularly then it's something we need to address. @Eagle_cz What do you think about kicking specs like we used to? Polite message and all that.

Members on Pub have shoutcaster and I think clan friends have too? I don't remember. Anyway that's something we could do I think if we added the inactivity cvar thingy.

Made a fleeting visit for the after party and loved it. @Mister J got some ball skills. Cheers everyone for putting the event on  Even had one guy disappointed it wasn't a weekly thing lol.

The stats are fixed in the newest version of Legacy, but we have not added it to the server yet. Testing and such ...  

We'll add any commands anyone thinks they will need, fixing them is a little more difficult though? @Eagle_cz The server has all the commands we'd consider you require unless there's something we missed. We've tried to add !pants but your belt was on too tight!!

I don't think we'll add any sounds like that. I'm a fan of them myself but we want to change as little as possible on the server right now. It gained popularity without them, so it stands to reason it will remain popular without them. Nitmod (the silly server ) and Pub have these sounds if you miss her voice

I'm in agreement with this. What makes the server popular is what it is right now, changing it wouldn't be the best move. The same goes for any other major changes like skill levels.

Cheers everyone for suggesting and voting.  At the end of next month we'll do the same again and refresh some maps. Any issues with the current maps or any additions then let us know.

Drum roll please.

The map vote is here! Every map suggested will be taken in to consideration and added to the poll. Ice will be replaced with ETL Ice and ETL Bergen will be added. Gotta show our support for what the Legacy guys do. (Can't find TB or SL entries sorry).

Warbell will also be replaced with the version made by our former leader @peyote. Instead of sacrificing your body at the end you must deliver 3x gold from the command post. Makes it slightly easier for axis in the finale, and hopefully boost the maps popularity.

I have added some of the least played maps that weren't mentioned in the discussion to the poll as well.

You can vote for any maps you would like to add, as well as any maps you would like to remove. Depending on the votes, more than 2 maps may be removed as there are several maps not popular on the server (12 maps have been played 5 times or less in 7 days). That means more might be added. Who knows! I sound like someone at a carnival trying to flog something now.

I cannot add any new maps to the poll due to forum reasons - that's why I made the discussion topic. If you want a map that isn't listed then you'll have to wait for next time. Vote away! Every map can be found on TrackBase.

What do you guys think of these maps? Dingenskirchin and Stiglitz. They both have Legacy ties I think? The latter won TB's map of the year.
