You should, we all there Well, I dont think there is issue with less bots - but there is option to remove them also for lets say 3vs3 even Just give admin info when you join and info when bots should be put back. Were online pretty long hours usually . I know the original idea was to have it seconday when main server is full. But lets see in what directions it will go. We have had small maps servers and campaign server etc before, so we have experimented a little already. But join up discord and keep giving us your ideas here too We are very thankful for it! -

Here we go! - ↓ - ↓ - ↓ - ↓ - Just note us in discord. We can usually jump in and disable bots for some time if needed & asked nicely. There usually is someone online with high enough level to do that. If possible, could you also spread some word for people to post their opinions about maps to this forum? Then we have much more info to base our mappool on Would it help if door was destroyable with satchel after 1 successful bomb? Like we have modified caen? Cannot promise it to be easy but maybe its a solution? Cannot throw away map for 1 bad area. Well we can maybe ask our members who dont play in etl2 at all not to vote ... but that doesnt still represent of those who are not TM members (yet 🧐). We can call them come here to vote & if you are invested in making the mappool the best we can do, then help us too . We surely wanna meet the expectations as good as possible! -- Br, C# -

In some areas - I agree. In some other areas .. disagree. Inside areas are a mess with 20vs20 for example in daybreak. I would say lets keep them on. Dont know how popular dingenskirchen is in anywhere as people doesnt know it. -

But is there any real "very large maps"? I think almost every map has one or multiple sections where people are all in tiny area. Even glider that seems huge or some mlb maps. -

To be honest, we could start with exactly the same settings and maps but just see over time what maps stay (what people like/prefer) and what should go. -

I agree. No need for any other change. Just a copy with smaller amount of slots. We could possibly watch even more closer what maps are fine for bigger server and what are fine for smaller one. if we could have distinctive IP's then that would be dream. I still connect manually /connect et.teammuppet.com -
Totally vanilla. I think Seb idea is good and do clean install (save etkey somewhere tho).

And use advanced program to view config file (notepad +++, sublime etc) so it breaks row itself and you dont have to read the mess normal notepad makes.

yeap. because the issue here is not the map that is chosen but people beeing unhappy about the map that majority DID choose and then vote skip. I reckon those can be people who dont know how to vote / dont care to vote / they havent got enough time to vote (like happened with me few times).

Something to think about. Does it happen to certain maps? Is it usually close voting results like "3 votes for radar; 3 votes for goldrush; 3 votes for fueldump" and fueldump begins but gets !nextmap voted or is it with much clearer favourite beeing voted off?

Well, this is the current "meta" of this game last 10 years. Medic class is the most popular (for obvious reasons) and we've nerfed it (no adrenaline for example) but to bring number of medics in team lower or deny someone this class would make people go spec (until they can play medic) or leave at all. What is the balance with covert ops, engis or fops that you are suggesting? We're open for all suggestion but I also should warn that the amount of ideas that we have discussed and analyzed is much greater than people usually think.

Knowing the core of what is fair and how are our rules set up will actually give very good guideline how to maintain equal playground to everyone in server. Its not huge amount of info to learn but more of a skill how to evaluate situations from unbiased point of view. We truly believe that all of our members have that skill and its in accordance with their level in server. That separates new members, regular TM members and experienced members. Enjoy the journey !

Well there lies a important point. Starting with basic - in most of our servers (I reckon campaign server and some scrim server are exceptions?) killing someone in spawn is not allowed from outside of spawn. And from inside spawn its only allowed when spawned player shot first and its returning fire (and with light weapon only). Oasis, axis 2nd spawn for example - if axis player go back to spawn or just stay inside there and shoot players outside from that spawn, then that axis player is camping in spawn and its allowed for allies to shoot him with light weapons. Same place, roles somewhat reversed. Allied player is camping axis 2nd spawn exit (lets say tunnels, upper exit and panzer) and because that spawn has multiple exits (meaning that axis do not have to go out from that spawnexit that is camped) this spawncamping is allowed. Its fine to ask clarifications over rules and different terms. We have very specific rules and they are sometimes very map based so members and admin stuff need to take map specification very strongly into consideration. Br, C#
