  6. I just remember one time talking someone in teamspeak who was thinking he is hidden in radar map grass. But for me, who had no long grass, he was so easy to spot. Thats the people this could help. +1
  7. I dont even know. Its a question about modded game vs vanilla. I dont mind them on or off but it should be the same for everyone. Same goes with grass and multiple other settings. Right now the gap between regular and good player is even wider because one know how to manipulate settings in config and gain some extra advantage. If we can level that out either way - I think its good. If @Dmxj predicts that were gonna lose people because they are turned ON, then lets turn them OFF to everyone.
  8. I voted "yes". Its not against having faith in charlie but to bring community more together again. I see it working well in ETL2 and I still get nice feedback how tight the community is there (gratz @Dmxj and @Bystry ) and we should go with votes. Charlie can make some corrections if some map is not included for some technical reason (cortex needs doublejump) but after that - if a map has waypoints & its not crashing server & its been voted to put on OR take off, then we should go with it. We should also make this regularly to make it a habit for community to vote and give insight about maps on certain times & for sure to announce it in server and discord also to bring more people to give their opinion about it.
  9. Defending garage door from inside would make sense if you could build it from inside also. Now when allies manage to destroy and build cp, which is not superhard with med+covie+engi as axis have 16s spawntime anyway, then axis stand no chance of defending backdoor. They have to go out from teamdoor to attack cp to take it back or to defuse dyna from backdoor. We all know how close to impossible is to attack through teamdoor. If allies blow it up then later on, they can destroy it fast as its close to cp and with satchel its seconds. I think current balance is fine, just information that allies should also build cp to spawn there instead of axis has not gone to everyone.

If you know frostbie, then in good old days in RTCW there was no allied command post - it was just a flag which was easy to capture by allies to have spawnpoint there but also easy to re-capture by every axis player. The current CP is hard for allied to get but even harder to lose. If allies have main bunker and also cp built, I dont see axis really claiming CP back as it takes so long and hard route (its possible to spawn as covert, blow up CP near your spawntime, spawn at cp as engi and re-build it, but its damn hard). I would ask - why isnt the battery door rebuildable for axis? Ive seen also battery version where you can have stairwell from beach to gun directly.. those are all lovely versions but makes that map very unbalanced in a way. I guess the real other option is to have regular version. It takes away axis spawn from cp that isnt built but also takes away possibility to blow backdoor with dyna and main bunker door with dyna.
  11. Its intentional and I think it balances well. If axis put a lot of guys defending there, then main entrance is less protected and vice versa. For balance, allies has also extra entrance to flag by door.

    Depending on videocard, it can has also some extra settings. I know I use nvida geforce experience to boost gamma up a little when playing CS in some maps.

  14. TAB scoresheet changes font size from time to time, so that one team (sometimes allied, sometimes axis) has much smaller font. Its hard to see on quick look if teams are fair or not when thats occuring.

  18. Maybe for stupid maps, we could set some fun server. Like cortex also is more fun/playable with djump. But that should be suggestion elsewhere. Goldendunk is no match for either of servers atm
  19. Yes, for sure. Like we announce in Caen that the gate can after 1 dyna explosion be blown up by satchel.
  20. I think he refers to situation where there is equal amount of players or +1 where he joins. Sometimes people wanna swap places, sometimes they dont.

  22. Its cool but with all nades and mines and 20 defenders - that map was pretty terrible for allied to succeed. With smaller group, its fine.

  24. Ask someone not so advanced in this game on losing side if he/she can swap places with you.
  25. Any old boys maps maybe? Assault and depot? Those were fun back in RTCW days. Also Karsiah is good addition when there is not 20vs20 situation.
