  1. Well, post some screenshots and demo and admins can look and decide. I see them mainly playing alone or +1 other player in their team . . . so its basically bot-slaying party there.
  2. Yeap. nothing excessive going on these days. I think connecting admin or member will scare them a bit as ive seen some disconnecting every time i join.

  4. Not 100% against it, just might be confusing (like SR was/is) and/or have some issues. But lets try it. Its just my first opinion and Im glad if my caution was redudant
  5. I dont't know .. making basically a minigame into regular game. SR rating is still so-so in terms of trustworthyness and good old stacked XP was good indicator to verify if player is new to the server (and thus will be punished less on mistakes because they dont know it all yet) or someone 2-3 in our servers played regular member. Why I currently like about maxed out stats, is the fact that we dont have that many farming people. When levels needed to be upgraded by working for them, I saw once a day some fieldop who just stood next to spawn and handed out ammopacks but didnt help in any other way. I think the average player who connect to server wants to play a simple game, with even teams and on even terms and have same guns/equipment like other players (play panzer and have smg as backup gun; see mines on ground; be able to heal teammates with syringe to full health etc). In last months, Ive seen only 1 complain/discussion in discord where someone said that levelling up should be back. Otherwise - I have heard no complaint in server or anywhere. Members and guests seem to like full classes, no adrenaline, no double jump, no extreme new maps. I dont think the "most prestigious players" would be more popular than "highest skill rating player" that we have currently. If you are asking feedback, then we should implement it somewhere else and test it - if others do think that it is a direction where we might be headin'.
  6. Naah, I picked up panzer first because your zooka was out of ammo. I guess axis panzerman was also dead. Later on, when you noted noobstick differences in brand in /mc chat, I chose zooka from ground and kept using it to see if I'm able to nick it from you. I knew it was possible to use heavy weapons but I didnt know it was possible to "steal them" this way.
  7. First time I see someone trying to make their reputation better and shorten the punishing by just spamming loudly. But hey, theres first for everything. I believe Eagles' banhammer is just in its strenght and lenght and only time will tell if it will be the last time to appear.
  8. Well I tried 1 thesis that worked. Spawned with mg42 and @Jessica was panzer. Played few spawns with mg42, then picked up panzer where jess died. I think I spawned soon with it (don't remember if i got it immediatelly as my choice of weapon or I did have to clean few times after him). Can we just leave heavy weps on ground and make them unable to be picked up?
  9. It goes. Ive seen dual mortars in venice once already. Whatever multiple heavy weapon is a problem. Imagine trying to survive delivery against enemy with 3 flamers and 2 panzers.
  10. Hey. As we have noticed in our ETL server, soldiers can pick up other soldier weapons (for example mortarguy can pick up dead teammate bazooka) and if you use it wisely then you can snatch whatever weapon out of teammate hand accidentally or in purpose (tested that out on Jess yesterday). Team can actually have even more panzers if they just keep spawning in as soldiers and keep picking up panzers on ground. Do we want to keep this rotation going or can we do something about it?

  12. Nice game. Thanks for the updated pistol damage - was much more efficient to seek but not impossible for hider to get away. Only few maps have places where seekers cannot go. For example pirates 2nd axis spawn. Maybe with 3 seekers, but we were just 2 .. And it should be skill of seeking, not hard trickjumping. We also should use autoshuffle to give everyone experience to seek and hide.

  14. I just had my ups and downs with bluetooth headphones. The audio will fall behind but I think ic would be ok. I think USB is bit better option for mic and there should be ton of them available. If you have any mic+ headphones then this thing should also help you out. USB external sound card. I used one long time ago and worked well. Local stores should sell them or you can grab some via internet. About server .. settings are there and dont think you can do anything wrong. You can have fun also without discord but that just adds ton of fun IMHO.
  15. Rules are simple. Two teams hiders and seekers. Hiders mission is to not be killed when time is up and seekers mission is to kill all hiders before time is up. You can hide to increase your chances to survive or just run fast. You have knife to protect yourself, syringe to heal other hiders who have been shot but not gibbed and medpacks to heal yourself. Once you are killed and gibbed you become seeker. Seeker has pistol with unlimited amount of bullets (but still needs to reload) and can respawn again if killed by hider or dead by falling/drowning etc. Any questions? To listen voice chat is 25% of the fun. Talking is the other 75% as you can taunt seekers or talk with other hiders. If you have any chance to buy even some potato-mic (5€ microphone from regular shop) it usually does the trick if your background noise is not thunderloud. It helps to look maps before as they are bit different from regular maps as some doors are not blocked off for example. Also practising some pistol shooting and fast jumping/running helps.   17. That 30sec time we have currently is not pure waiting time when your map is loaded. It starts when map is loaded in server, so in reality it is much shorter for players. Some people disconnect when map changes when they see what map comes up. Some new players need maybe time to download map. Thats why I suggested to extend time on mapload/start. Surely if all press /ready - it will start sooner but I dont see many people having that habit. I dont think having to wait few seconds more at the beginning of map to make sure - all are online, all are ready, teams are fine is a bad trade. Surely I think we need fine balance between voting time at the end and also in the beginning of map. So we should look this as a whole.

Could we increase warmup time from current 30sec from maploading to 50sec to: 1. give people minibreak between maps 2. make sure all have downloaded map and connected 3. give time to check if teams are fine in numbers and discuss if they are fair in /mc chat 4. decrease number of afk players at the beginning of a round as it is most crucial to have all attackers and defenders when map begins Mr said in discord that it could be done - lets discuss its pros and cons here.
  19. So you are saying, that adding 1sec delay would compromize those ++ ? My proposition is not to disable selfkill but to delay it to reduce selfkills mid battle. I use selfkill also for various reasons but not mid battle.
  20. Update : can we add serverside delay between selfkill command and selfkill action or between selfkill action and tapout?
  21. Well thats the thing. How early can we start so everyone would have some time to have fun. 8PM CET is 9PM for people in my timezone (estonians, finns etc) and its sunday evening also .. Would be nice option to start bit earlier and everyone can join in when they are ready.
  22. 6PM CET is better. Otherwise me and Ande start figuring out what we have to do but its already 12pm here :/
  23. I understand that this is kind of suggestion-based topic? Cool. Could we extend it with brief explanation why some map would fit to our server.
