Beaucoup me pousse ou me snobe les munitions 😅 Mais je fais toujours de mon mieux pour protéger vos arrières. 💥 Je joue énormément en défense dû à mon handicap car main droite me permet pas de courir après les méchants 😅🤣😂 Mais je tiens à remercier tous les joueurs qui me soutiennent en munitions et médical. Many push me or snub my ammo 😅 But I always do my best to cover your backs. 💥 I play a lot on defense due to my disability because my right hand doesn’t allow me to chase the bad guys 😅🤣😂 But I want to thank all the players who support me with ammo and medical supplies.

  2. Hey everyone, I’d like to bring up something that has been bothering me (and I’m sure others too): the SR (Skill Rating) system on ETL1. In theory, SR sounds like a good idea. Reward players for winning, give a sense of progression, maybe even improve matchmaking. But in practice, it’s doing the exact opposite and is actively harming the gameplay experience. Here are some of the main issues I’ve noticed: Team switching to protect SR Players constantly switch to the stronger team just to avoid losing SR. This completely breaks team balance and makes matches feel one-sided before they even properly start. Players that get auto-switched move to spec or simply rejoin the other team. Leaving before the match ends A lot of players leave right before a loss is inevitable, just to avoid a SR penalty. This ruins the match for everyone else and leads to incomplete or uncompetitive rounds. Focus on SR over gameplay Instead of playing for fun, teamwork, or objectives, people are playing for SR. You see selfish behavior like stat-padding, avoiding risky plays, or not supporting teammates if it might hurt their rating. Discourages fair competition Rather than encouraging players to improve, SR promotes avoiding losses at all costs. That means fewer players stick through tough matches or try to turn a game around. New players get punished Less experienced players end up with low SR and get stuck there. It can be frustrating and discouraging, especially when they’re matched against stacked teams. Toxicity increases When SR is on the line, people take losses more personally. This leads to blame, arguments, and generally worse vibes on the server. Doesn’t reflect actual skill Winning or losing in a team-based game doesn’t always represent individual performance. A good player can lose SR simply because their team was unbalanced. ET has always been at its best when people just jump in, play, and enjoy the game without worrying about rankings or penalties. The current system pushes players toward selfish and unfair behavior instead of teamwork and fun. What do you guys think? Tl;dr: Remove SR, it improves the game.

  5. Well, I reverted back to original version following the feedbacks. It means it removes: - randomization of player to be balanced - no move feature below 3mn left duration - announcer to encourage self balance due to massive damage difference between teams

As Rosen wrote - play as you wish, good fun is what server is about. I know ppl disrepect HW players in many ways, i hate pushers so much See you on server, MG hungry!   9. Hello, thought I'd reintroduce myself again, and a lot would remember me using the alias valk. That alias is no longer in use and now go by the name of boo, but you can also call me Ryan. I am 29 years old and soon to be 30 in April. Since the last time I was introducing myself here, I have had a baby, and had a boy, named Oliver, he's nearly a year and a half and one of the reasons why I use boo is because he loves me calling him that. I also started doing jiu jitsu a number of weeks ago and really like going to every class, three times per week. Enjoy the server a lot, and find myself mainly at ETL1 a lot.   10. Server is now updated. Should not give false gamehack alerts. Did also give it to me when joined earlier. Inforerces contacted me after hes ban so reminded him about rules and respecting our members. Hes unbanned today. Let me know if he still causes problems. If there is doubts about cheating, we need demo from it.

  12. Yep! That was the level Beginners had some months ago, then some of our usual players didn't come back, or we could see them from time to time... Maybe they are coming back since some spawncampers have been banned... I hope the server will keep this number of players now

  14. I don't know man. For someone who doesn't like us and don't wanna be here - you are still here. You know all the inside-outs of beeing TM member and enforcing rules, the way different members/admins enforce them (some more strict, some more lenient) and how this is a job to benefit a community. So if you wanna be in TM server you got to behave and understand that while you were TM member, you were privileged a bit more because we could have talks with you in member section of the discord hub and you were sometimes forgiven more than regular guest would have. But leaving TM and closing the door behind you with a band and constantly burning all the bridges - you are just becoming more and more someone who just do not fit in the server. There are more servers to go to, there are other communities to join or to start so if we are such communist to you then you should start searching new home elsewhere. But it never is, my friend. Never with you. Sad. But you are still getting replies and not shown the door, so there is still a chance to fix your shit and behave. Don't f*ck it up. Happy halloween weekend to you.

Stypek I believe you can understand TM are players before being admins and we can’t see everything everytime…I didn’t witness the situation that led to your ban but I can guess that you asked a nasty way, as often with you, and that you didn’t get listened mainly due to that. And well, communists, mushrooms, Russia, Poland, voting system or whatever else you are rambling about on a daily basis we just don’t care. It’s a video game, not a politic debate area, I’m sure there are places dedicated for such discussions. In short, I would advise not to go further in your adjectives now or situation could only worsen, we don’t have time nor energy to debate for days.

  17. Hi all, I was wondering if it would be possible to tweak the auto-balance system so that players who have been on a team from the start of a map are less likely to be switched late in the game. Instead, balance changes should prioritise moving players who joined midway through (or later), unless there really are no other options. The reason I bring this up is that I have been switched quite a few times with only 3–5 minutes left, despite having played the entire map from the beginning. It feels especially unfair when someone who joined my team just minutes earlier gets to stay, while I get moved. It is frustrating when you have spent the whole round fighting hard to support your team and push for the win, only to be pulled away at the last minute. For me, it is not just about SR (though that matters too), but about the time and effort invested in backing the team you started with. I completely understand that balancing is important, and sometimes it is unavoidable that long-standing players get moved. But in most cases, I think it would feel fairer if late joiners were the first ones affected. Just my two cents... curious to hear what others think.

  18. Ok let's try this idea. I added a condition to deactivate the autobalance when there is less than 3 minutes remaining on the map. Also takes into consideration the time bonuses. Let's see if it helps and don't hesitate to bring new feedbacks.

  19. I agree with you. Imagine autobalance in soccer match where one player contributes to team whole match and in the end will be put to other team because other team is underperforming. Idk if there have been more changes made to autobalance but by default it should swap the player that joined most recently. Issue is or was that game considers each match as all the players joining in again. So the one who takes longest during map change is considered the most recent player even if u have played for hours

  20. Hello, I remember your case. You were pissing off all server with your mortar all day long and were pretty proud of this, taunting other players. That's because of players like you that we modified the server. Indeed it's no more possible to stand mortar in protected areas, was too unfair. Also, the rules changed and you'll find rule 18 covering the fact that it is no more allowed to exploit mortar the way you were doing it. I don't know what happened for your kick but I believe the admin who kicked you already had in mind your past behavior with this mortar and your proud intention to piss off all server with this weapon. We don't tolerate such behavior anymore, fun is for everyone, not only for you.

  22. They never had a live fire fight. I was really disabled. People like this are killing the team game called enemy territory. These are not team games, they are all against all. then they get hysterical if they don't win. This is not a territory, it's a nursery or a gay club where you can troll on your parents' money. Another big disappointment is the behavior of the Poles. We Hungarians consider the Poles to be a brotherly people as part of our historical heritage. We even have a saying about this: Our sword is one, our fight is one. In comparison, they behave like the dog-headed Tatars in 1242. if they perform like this in real life... their ancestors lost in a week, these wouldn't even last 3 days.

  23. Yeah ive noticed that too. What also is a big issue that players just join the spec after a shuffle and wait to join Allies or axis agian, which makes the shuffle just usless.

  24. I agree Wontkins raised some valid points. The rules are hard to enforce to keep the teams fair because of SR, when a player leaves in warmup ( because of win probablity to avoid losing SR ) the server shuffled before that and it makes teams uneven from the start. Removing SR will make the !shufflebysr command redundant, I'd suggest then something like !shufflebywr (winrate) based on most matches played.

  27. Maybe you understanded it wrong. Its not limiting any class, but not let new players ruin others game with team damage. After few experience they can use heavy weapons too. So it doesnt effect on regular players.

  28. This might work. May be a user has to connect to TM like 10-20 times before he/she can use heavy weapons. Very interesting topic from Danimal. Worth discussing. I believe heavy weapons are what makes this game unique and fun if they are deployed properly. New players also want to take a bite of it. I understand. Without hurting their enthusiasm and hurting server game play, may be our good admin Flo can sort something out. I am not a fan of SR system and I know it has flaws but may be something like 7-8 SR before a user can deploy heavy? Should not be that hard to get I believe.

  29. Total XP is reset if someone collects a Prestige point. SR is vicious because not very accurate ELO computation, it is mainly in favor of stackers. This approach is bit "elitist" and we would block non-stackers or non-pro players from using weapons which are a full part of the game. Maybe something around wolfadmin data could fit, e.g you need to be seen at least 20 times on server before being allowed to use heavy weapon, so that you get time to know maps, rules, how people play on this big server and so on.

  30. Modified on OM server: - server snaps from 20 to 40 - geoIP = 1 - rate from 25-45k to 90k - cl_maxpackets range between 100 and 125 - voting percent from 60% to 50% - allowing nextmap vote option - externalized some scripts outside gameserver to reduce lags

Hello, what could be done is the following: - for spawn protection, implement the script running on main ETL server, but: it also monitors team damage (and warns/kick) / it prevents mortar and MG42 to be used from heavy-protected zones / and not all maps are covered, e.g railgun or fueldump are not supported (yet), we would need to work on these to support the maps - server slots: no opinion on my side, let's wait opinion from other admins - next map: this option is available from wolfadmin level 10 and above, but we could allow the voting option. For server lag, I think it's mainly due to this server still running in 20 snaps whereas our main server now supports 40 snaps and 90k rate, which could be a big difference for people used to this smoothness. I think we could apply such configuration on this gameserver too without too much risk.

Evercore didn't like it (maybe we should ask him) ??? Your behavior is called trolling, meaning you deliberately annoy people during the game and run away like a coward. It wasn't for fun...You enjoyed it, which is why you received a warning. Regarding farming ammo or health packs, if you don't do this, other players will have no ammo or health and won't be able to continue their activities, resulting in the entire team losing. The same thing happened in the situation you're reporting here: other players were dissatisfied and voted to kick a player from the iL clan for not farming ammo - that's why I issued a warning. If you don't understand this, that's your problem, and you'll have to deal with it. You're trying to be polite and calm now, but I see who you are and what you're doing. No mature person will believe the crap you're trying to pull here. As I already told you on the server after your trolling, if I see you deliberately ruining other players' fun again, we'll take more serious action.

  39. Please revert changes and let last joined get moved... After a week of playing everyday it's the same story and most good players keep joining stronger team, and then other player get moved... The 'I get moved when i try to even' is a crap story, and i have few demos to prove that

  40. First of all, thanks for feedbacks and bringing them here so we can discuss and keep track of what is needed in the end. I do confirm the autobalancer script was modified, the 24th of June this year. The logic of the former version of the balancer script was basically to populate tables in order of appeareance of players joining teams. Then it moves the last one in the table when it kicks in. So it was always switching the player that joined the team the last (new player, or already-switched player). We changed to a total random method instead. The culprit that we tried to address was the fact that when strong players/TM members/friends were trying to balance a map, they were very likely to be switched back to the other team as soon as teams are unbalanced in terms of numbers (-2 less in one team). I understand your point tho. It's very hard to always find good balance when tweeking this game. When you try to improve a situation in one side, it alters another one on the other side. I'm all happy to listen or discuss about any idea that could cover these both situations or improve the server on that topic.

  45. First of all, please calm down and don't take it so personally. Do you think that admins know the origins of every nickname or clan that has appeared over the past 20 years? TM servers have been operating for a very long time and during this period countless Hitlers, Bin Ladens, Himmlers, Stalins, etc. have visited here. Players also used abbreviations or words that were not directly offensive, but had negative associations. Believe me, there is enough work to maintain servers and forums and we don't need to wonder what an exact player had in mind when choosing this or that nickname. Just stay calm and wait for unban if admins decides so. You know, we have real lives too... Edit: What about your clan's logo? As Sebastian mentioned this is the logo of a nazi formation, banned and considered as criminal!!!

  46. 10 years? I have been since 2011 in TM but, there was a part was away.. But I have been in ET scene and plaiyng since 2003... Soon 20 years I'm 100% sure 20 years will come too as playing time ready soon.. Will see then how goes then with 30 years in ET...
