  1. I would not say Battery is allied favoured map. With some normal defence from axis, it is hard to win as allied. It is actually same concept as frostbite (2 front entrances, one open/one closed, one backdoor entrance). Axis also have backdoor benefit because they spawn at command post even if its not built there. So they have that spawn easily. And in front, the ramp is destroyable and can be maintained with 2 covert ops easily and the door entrance has ladder that is easy to camp. Would say that this entrance is uneven when its a ramp but you can climb ladders one-by-one and you cannot shoot when youre doing it. But I think people are playing the map mostly wrong on both sides because they are used to with regular battery and that makes map derpy.

  4. I think some maps go around and around. @Charlie maybe we could have a spreasheet of maps of past 1-2 years about what maps we have had and what we have removed in one point. I see maps in suggestions that are removed due some issue or just because they were unpopular.

  10. I think its so popular map because its large enough to give people room to have all those little fights. Under bridge, on cp, backroute.. Also its one of the original 6 maps, so everyone knows it very well (new players and old players). I also really like some other versions of that map where axis spawn on balcony or there are ledges up (that actually help allies a lot). So there is a way to change dynamics of the map by changing the versions.. but do average joe wants it? C#
  11. Agreed. I usually play panzer as allied in beginning of supply and I get my 4 shots done with my 2 spawns (or close) and I can selfkill to fill ammo again. Can we make axis garage spawn active and make then their spawntimes longer? Difference between oasis and fueldump is that in oasis, axis can go out from spawn and spread around map without beeing spawn-bullied. In FDump axis come out of 2 doorways.. There is a version of FDump also with upperspawnway exit beeing made bit wider + added tiny balcony.
  12. Yea. Agreed. Its a versatile weapon. Kind of "flamethrower" of guns with bullets - deadly at close range but not so much with distance. Sten is opposite. Both have pros and cons (overheating vs 20 bullets) but they are class specific weapons. what we can (maybe) try to do with panzer, is to add some gravity to it (if its possible in legacy?) - that way it becomes more specialist weapon and less "just shoot and see what happens". Also it may increase teamkills.. What I would love, is to have less landmines for a team, but make them invisible and only detectable with covie. C#

  14. I like that pace. If that works then we can see if 1 hour is the time we need or it should be shorter. First thing that we can improve is to make sure that TM members would use pvt slots if server is over 30 ppl. That helps to "add" 4 slots. And I dont think we need 2nd server. We can keep 1 server running and happy and its good. Summertime is also more quiet as people go to holidays or go outdoors.. right now is one of the most active times when weather can be nasty and people stay indoors and play. C#
  15. I kept on sitting in Axis as +1 to them and moving "balanced players" back to allies. Luckily they took it well and friendly but yea. In other maps.. its not so bad, but sp_delivery is pretty hard. C#
  16. And I dont think snatch is big map per se. Pantherbase is pretty big, but not known. Cathedral is big but people dont like it too much. Praetoria mission 1 & 2 Burg rabenhorst Those are bit bigger maps, but dont know if people knows them or likes them. By bigger, I mean objectives are not so close to spawn or majority of map has more than 1 way to progress. + they all should have bot waypoints.
  17. Today the balancer have been all over the place. Trying to move even players in battery map from allies to axis when allied had +1 but they were so much weaker.. :/ At the moment its constantly trying to balance teams when 1 team has +1. C#
  18. If members move back-and forward to fill team that has less players, then its noble way. But we cannot assume everyone watching 24/7 scoreboard and notice quick enough to swap teams. C#
  19. @Charlie SW is even a bigger problem with a stacked server like us, The distance between gold and truck is to big Extra "heavy weopon" at tank nearby the axis spawn is to much in SW So the normal version is way better in the public scene then the sw. About the colours, i tried red or what u say pink guess this will help alot! and yes it's a small grey message that pops up with /wolfadmin. tnx for reply! Do guests leave us when leave goldrush out for some time..? Or maybe GA version is really better (is it the one with upper entrance and balcony in gold room?). C#
